couple of noob questions.
For all my retro games, I play them from an external HD that isn't organized very efficently. By that I mean when I boot up any of the emu programs, I have to navigate through several menus on the external to get to that emu's respective roms.(I have a folder just named emu that houses all my roms, then about 8 different submenus in that. I used this for PC emulators and never cleaned it up now that I play them from PS3.)
What do I need to do to get this newest version of MM to find the roms? Refreshing under Retro tab in MM doesn't find them, and I am sure it is because I dont have this set up right. Can someone help Do I have to FTP the roms to the internal?
After that is settled, I would love to use these retro covers if someone can explain how to do so for a simpleton like myself. How noobish am I? Well, I don't even know how to use any of the online features inside of MM. My PS3 has remained offline since JB, and I dont want Sony to find out. Do you guys not care about that, or do these MM online features (such as downloading latest MM, covers, links to PSX-SCENE via MM, ect) keep Sony's eyes from seeing? I know that Sony can see without signing into PSN or even their browser, if the PS3 is allowed internet access. I ask because mainly for downloading these retro covers from inside MM if this is possible and safe.
