I ran the majority of my roms/covers through the renaming program here, and everything seemed to work fine, multiman finds the roms fine, but doesn't load the covers. I left all my roms in .zip format, as it says thats fine, but if i open the zip i notice the rom inside has its old name, I'm wondering if that might be the reason multiman isn't loading the covers.
I also have like 700+ roms for each of the 5 or so emulators, would that slow things down? As in, take an hour to load all the covers?
uhmm hi everybody...
i was making a template for GBA covers ('coz in the 3d pack there are some USA games missing or there aren't any japanese and besides the perspective in the 3d was a bit weird[that its my problem as a designer .. i tend to be a little perfectionist u.u ] ).
so here i'm sharing it for you...
it's a photoshop CS5 (some filters won't work on earlier versions), with smart layers, it's pretty easy to use, the only thing you need to do is:
1.- open the file in photoshop (duh!). once open, double click the layer containing the front cover,
2.- then drag & drop the 2d version cover of the game
3.- move it and resize it to fill the whole workarea and move the layer on top of the last at the bottom
4.- then close/save the smart layer file
5.- and its done!.
it requires the most basic photoshop understanding...
here's a demo in a thumb
or click the pic below to see a real HD sample (1000x1000px)
i hope it likes you people.. or at least that it would be useful
btw sorry if my english sucks.... i'm trying my best here xD
Good to see someone still doing covers. I have not been around for a while but it seems there is nothing needed updated here yet.
The download link should be fixed :) Megaupload is down for a while.
