Question about updating mM version 2.09 to temperature showing version

Hi all,

I've the old version of mM v2.09 (I think) and would like to update to the latest version which will allow me to check the temperature of the PS3.I looked in the downloads section but could not find the latest one there.

I've been reading the threads about others updating from old mM and having trouble.
Should I delete the v2.09 first then install the latest version ?
I have back ups which I do not wanna lose.

I'm on CFW 3.55 but don't know if its kmeaw as it does not say in the system info.

Please advise.

Hey sorry for the late response, to make sure you don't delete games when deleting multiMAN, check in it's folder (dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR) for the GAMES or GAMEZ folder if it i s just move it to the root of dev_hdd0 and you should be fine the in the XMB delete multiMAN with the base version found here if you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask

Does KMEAW actually display as KMEAW 3.55 on the system info ?
As I know I downloaded it from this forum but it only says 3.55 on my system and I got it as its supposed to be the KMEAW one.

no it only say 3.55 and if you got it from 99.9% it is KMEAW

I just unzipped it and which package do I install just the [mmCM ver 04.06.02 BASE (20121002).pkg] one right ?
I just need it for my back up games and showing the temperature ....
