PSX Memory card problems.
PSX Memory card problems. –
I'm unable to change memory cards during emulation using multiman's retro emulator with burned disks and USB booted games.
The Memory cards in my XMB are treated as if they are completely different cards. as the memory card that Multiman automatically set as my main has about 70KB left in multiman, but it's completely empty in the XMB.
Whenever I try to change memory cards whilst ingame, the PS3 Freezes and won't turn off unless I give it a long time or pull the plug.
Any ideas on how to fix this, nice chaps?
Edit: This does NOT happen on PSN-PSX games, or on Non-burned games. If I boot the game from a "real" disk or from a PSN-PSX classic, i can switch and modify memory cards at will, but selecting a memory card in XMB doesn't change the selected card in Multiman, in my case. Currently my XMB memory card is named "Brian" (As per my name, I gave each member of my household their own memory card to prevent fussing over space.) But in Multiman, It's stuck on a different card named A-Multiman for slot one, and B-Multiman for slot two, respectivly. I made said memory cards after noting that multiman auto-assigns a card based on it's alphabetical order. (Slot 1 = A, Slot 2 = B.) and in turn multiman assigned them properly.
However I can not delete data to make space, or change memory cards to keep my save-games in order and that is, in layman's terms, My problem.
Change XMB Memory card, And Edit XMB memory card data
I -CAN NOT-;
Change Emulated memory card, or edit Emulated Memory card data.
Emulated and XMB memory cards are treated as completely seperate cards, even if they have the same name, as I have explained above.
