Hello, I have asked this problem on another forum, but we still have not been able to get a positive result.
I am thinking this is a Multiman problem. So I thought this would be the correct place to help solve this issue.
Here is what's going on.
Just went from Cobra 6.0 to Rogero 4.30 V2.
Used QA Flag. Everything went good.
Using Rogero 4.30 v2 FW.
Using Multiman 4.20.02.
USB Drive, 2TB Formatted Fat32. One Partition. In the Right or Left USB port makes no difference.
Partition created with EASEUS. Logical with Fat32. Just reformatted to Primary. No difference...
Formatted Fat 32, With GUIFormat, with a cluster of 65536.
GAMES or GAMEZ, VIDEO, PHOTO, MUSIC, ROMS folders. IN CAPS.
100% Positive folder is in ROOT, GAMES/BLU***** ETC.....
1 internal drive.
Here is my problem.
Multiman will not detect the games in the Games folder. Off of the USB drive only.
WILL detect internal games, no problem.
WILL detect and load a game from USB thumb drive, Fat32 or NTFS, with GAMES folder.
Does show a USB Portable on XMB.
And don't let me forget that Mm, does Detect the drive, it does appear in the Video, Music Section, and the folders on the USB drive can be see as port 71 or 91, if you go to, for example Retro and view folders. Or thru File Manager.
Now if I go into Multimans File Manager, go into the USB drive, goto the GAMES folder, pick a game, go to the EBoot of the game and load it from the file manager. Mm reboots go's to the XMB and game will load and play. ONLY with a disc in the drive, will not work disc-less.
Also trying to install Rogero 8.5 manager installs, then when trying to load gives an error.
Using Iris manager will only show the games on the internal drive, and the USB drive does not even appear.
When I try to rip a game from the BR Disc drive with a BR Original game disc, the game comes up in Mm, hit triangle, copy game. The USB drive doesn't even show in the list, just the internal drive.
Now like I said before, I can on into file manager and load that way. I can even use FTP and access the drive, copy rename, whatever.
I even tried to copy a game using the FTP manager to the USB drive with no luck. It copied but did not show up on the Mm game list.
I can even go to Retro, and load my ROM games (SNES, etc) from the ROMS folder of the USB drive. And the games populate In Mm columns.
So I know the the drive is working, I know that Mm will work if I go thru the File Manager.
Left or right port does no difference. Shows as port 71 or 91.
Refresh makes no difference.
If I do the Start and Triangle, all it does is drops the USB port to everything but Retro???, then I have to reset Mm for it to comeback.
Tried Reinstalling Mm, Uninstall then reinstall. No difference.
Well I hope you can help.
My kids are going crazy.
Thanks
