i was wondering the same thing. i went to use the file manager to clean out my media when i was done with it and the new one dose not work with the remote and dose not allow me to go and select items from a folder and mark them for deletion, i had to go and do them one by one. i know that it uses less resources but why dose it need to use less you only use it when managing files.

I was literally about to create a new thread asking the same question.

I really want the old file manager back, but still retain the features and improvements of the newest miltman, any suggestions?

well, what features are you looking to retain that the old one doesn't? i mean, it has internal bd-mirror but that's about it (for me).

just install 2.09.02 if you want the old file browser back. oh, you do lose game updates though cause he changed server.
Never there but always going back

I delete multiple files all the time, must be something you're doing wrong. All the function of the old is include in the new plus some (might take you some time to get used to but if you want the new features of mM this is one of them

You can use the BD-Remote controller in mmOS, but you're too lazy to read the "navigation.txt" and "changelog.txt". Use [SELECT]+[UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT] to move the mouse pointer with the bdremocon. And, no, there is no way to have the old filemanager in the new versions.

@JOshISPoser: Well it is like saying that one year of development added nothing (ftp speed, backup/file transfer speed, tons of bugs fixed, much more stable + a lot more). Anyway, everyone is free to use whatever version suits them.
