Okay, I've done some research within the forum here. Let me give you some background on what's going on.

I'm running the latest MultiMan release on my 3.55kmcfeaw ps3, and backed up my copy of black ops. Now, I was originally using lv2 patcher, but after reading that was obsolete for the most part, i downloaded and installed BDEMUKM.pkg on my ps3. I then went into MultiMan, loaded the backup (which is on my internal HDD), was put back to XMB, found game under /ps3_game right where it should be, pressed "x", and I keep coming to a black screen where my playstation just sits. No signs of life, no working light, just sitting.

Side note: I have seen information about possibly needing to update black ops to 1.06, but didn't want to update until i was sure that it was the right thing to do. Also have heard that i should never update to 1.10, because something happens in the scripts (..?) that doesn't allow you to boot it on 3.55.

What have I done wrong? Or neglected to do? Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I see that you try to boot the games from app_home/PS3. Leave that, insert an original BD game disc. then load your backup from multiman. then you should see the game you loaded instead of the disc you inserted. boot it, that's how it works for me.

Insert an original blue ray game into the ps3. Now your game should appear as a BRD game, and you will be able to play it perfectly. You can contact me anytime for any further help.....
