Playing AC1 from internal HDD.
Playing AC1 from internal HDD. –

Ok, I have Assassin's Creed 1 and I have backed it up into my 120GB PS3 Slim. But when I try to load the game, all I get is a blank screen and a frozen PS3. I know this can be fixed by loading the game from external HDD. But I was wondering if there was a method to play the game from internal HDD (with the original EBOOT).
"PLUS: If I get an external HDD and load games from it, will the loading times be longer? Will there be a FPS issue?"
Thanks all,

You can play AC1 from external HDD with "BD-Mirror" option enabled (with the original EBOOT.BIN). You won't have any FPS issues if you use a real USB HDD and not a usb stick.
To play AC1 from internal - there are some tricks using 'lastGAME' but it is not worth it. Just get an external HDD and give it a go.

Thanks DeanK, I must start saving now cuz external HDDs are really expensive here. Thanks for the info though, you are the man.
