not sure where this goes but i wanna rip my dvd collection
you will need a program to make a copy of your dvd's -(Google is your best friend) , create a folder on your desktop & name it movies or whatever you want, copy your ripped dvd's to this folder, then move the folder to your Ext HDD, you can watch your movies using showtime
thats what i kinda thought. Thing is my internal on my pc is 20 gig lol. So i dont have a lot free. Can i hook the ext to it and burn them to that instead? does ti have to be a special file format?

Is there a better prog to use then DVD shrink?
I got 1 to work. Then the other two movies says DVD error. Over and over.
