Hey all, I've been looking through the forums on how to install MultiMan and what I need and I'm a bit confused to what I need to do exactly.

First off, I have a brand new PS3 with system version 3.5, do I need to install anything before I attempt to install BDEMU and MultiMan? If so, what do I need and how do I proceed?

I got BDEMU but different versions, one is named BDEMU-355KM.pkg, BDEMU-355WT.pkg, and lastly BDEMU.BIN. I'm not sure which one I need and looking by the name I figure I would need version 3.55 instead of 3.5.

I kinda know what I need to do and how to do it, I'm just not sure on what I need to get before I attempt at installing and using MultiMan. I really don't want to brick my new PS3. Any help would be greatly appreciated

1.You need upgrade to 3.55 firmware. Then install Kmeaw CFW. (google for the tutorial there are loads of it).
    2.Install BDEMU-355km.pkg.
3.Then download the relevant Multiman for your CFW.
4.FTP your backup to the internal or copy to the external.
5.Put a game on your BD.
    6.Play, Enjoy.

PS: This wont brick your PS3 100% if you follow the steps correctly..
    Cheers.

    1. Install 3.55 CFW (kmeaw - can find link and instructions in my sig).
    2. Put BDEMU-355km.pkg and MultiMan.pkg on thumb drive
    3. Install MultiMan via install packages and then BDEMU.pkg via install packages.
    4. Enjoy your hacked PS3 w/ BM (backup manager)

Wow Awesome for the quick reply guys and exactly what I needed to know. One question though, do I need to upgrade to 3.55 via PS3 online, or can I just install 3.55 CFW kmeaw from my existing 3.50 from your chesh's link?

hehe right on, one last question if possible then I should be all set. I got MultiMan 1.17.04 FULL, if I install the OFW 3.55 then CFW kmeaw, I have to install the normal MultiMan package and not the one ending with WT right? or is it the other way around?

WT stands for Wutangrza/Geohot firmware. The packages (if marked) that you want to install is anything for KM or kmeaw.
