Need help deleting MultiMan shadow copies
Need help deleting MultiMan shadow copies –

Hey guys.
I've been away from the modding scene for quite a while, and I've forgotten how most things work during that time.
So my problem is that my PS3 HDD is nearly full, and I think it's because of those shadow copies MultiMan used to make in the past at least. Where are these located and how to delete them?
Thanks.

Shadow Copys do not take up any space on the hard drive, they are links to the actual files without any shortcut extensions that's why it only takes seconds to create shadow copies. They are all located in the PS3 hdd0/G/ folder. it might be a few bytes but that's all. I have seen a massive build up in some of the other root folder on the HDD0 Drive thought. Check in the tmp, game temp root folders and also hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR/ (the multiman folder) the cache, data, and TEMP too.
But again don't worry about the shadow copy stuff, they are just links; I just did a verification myself to make 100% sure, I had 83 Gigs left and then created a shadow copy of Boderlands 2 and even deleted Assassins Creed 3 that was in there and there was no change to the free space.
Hope this helps,

Oh okay, I thought shadow copies make a copy of actual size to somewhere. Thanks for the info!
