MultiMan v2.00.04 - Showtime not playing .MP4 Movies

Hello,

I have MultiMan v2.00.04 - Showtime, I try to play .MP4 movies on it but it does not run.
when I play it using the PS3 Video directly it works, but when i load it using Showtime it does not, only sounds appear and play with no video (black screen).
I wish to use Showtime for the .srt file so i could watch it with subtitles.
is it a bug in showtime?

note: i noticed in another .mp4 movie too that it plays the video for about 4s then the same problem happen, video hang and sound continue normally.

I have the same issue and with lower MP4 levels also, so it's not that.

Where is your source video coming from? Directly on PS3 HD? Mine is from a DLNA server.

Since this topic is old and it's discussing a very old version of MM, my question to Headrush69 is what version are you currently on?

I've used MP4 in Showtime within MM (latest version 2.04.00) and even just on the PS3 default video player, and never had an issue.

The sound-only problem with MP4 is still present in Showtime 3.1.203 (released on 8/25/2011).

I have managed to play some MP4 with subtitles converting them to MKV using MKVtoolnix.

its true, till this day and the latest version Showtime 3.1.203 they still have the same problem.
aldostools do you think converting them to MKV using MKVtoolnix will reduce there quality if filters where used to create the .MP4?

ive also had this problem with showtime since they've update from 3.0+ and above even with the unofficial builds. this was a major problem since i used showtime to play the mp4s with cinavia, but since the disable cinavia patch from rebug came out, its been less of hassle, but still something id like to see fixed.
