Ok, in order for people to help you have to explain more about your situation.
1. What version of MultiMan
2. What firmware you're on
3. What game you're trying to load
4. External or internal
5. Game directory location
etc etc etc
Ah sorry about not posting that info.
1.multiMAN ver 1.16.09 BASE (20110316_190000)
2.Wanin CFW v1
3. Im trying to load Tomb Raider Underworld
4.External since the black screen fix only works on external I think?
5.USB/GAMEZ/(Tomb raider game here)
A few versions back, multiman updated to remember select+x. You only need to do sel+x 1 time for each black-screen game.
You're correct, sel+x fix only works on external games. Had you been loading from internal, I would have told you that's what your problem was. Have you tried to re-rip Tomb Raider. Also, I've heard that sometimes the sel+x thinig won't work unless you're using the GameID as the folder name. My last suggestion would be to try Rogero's newest version of his manager as he's added the black screen fix to his manager too
Well I re-ripped it and deleted and re-installed multiman and the function works but now I get an error when I select yes "Error occured while parsing device mount table!"
Answer for that error here: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f187/err...t-table-81366/ ("Error occured while parsing device mount table")
The person said wanin v2 fixed it for them quick question before I update I have the rebug spoofer installed should I uninstall it then update to v2 or it doesn't matter?
Uninstall it and try the game again. One person in that thread said it was because of the spoofer. If it still doesn't work, then I'd upgrade to wanin v2
Select + x works fine for me. I think i had 3 or 4 black screen games they all work now.
Why is it some some games give black screens? ive read that the game searches for the disc on the wrong place... Is that why multiMAN puts the game on the root of your HDD when you launch it? I just like to know
Also how does muliMAN remember what are the black screen games, when i remove multiMAN to install a new version it still remembers. So i gues its not stored in the game folder?
