@dlanor: Interestingly enough, this same error was reported earlier today in multiMAN's thread by a user who tried to alter the options(_default).ini.
multiMAN needs one default game backup folder (usually /dev_hdd0/GAMES/) but sometimes users change that with invalid path or with a path which multiMAN checks at startup and fails to access. When it fails to access the default backup folder you get the aforementioned "critical" error message. It can be related to payloads too (that is from 3.41 days) when the folder actually exists but multiMAN still can't access it (no write permissions).
Actually the payload has a big role in access permissions, because Hermes payload changes default write permissions to "root" while SC36/PL3 don't do that.
Does it matter how many lines will be in the final language file?
It is quite possible that some of the next versions will require more labels when more functions are added.
Currently 295 labels without XMMB mode translation. I believe when I'm done with 2.01.00 there will be about 400-420 labels total.
About that "Group ROMs by Emulator" issue. I think that maybe a dynamical length box can be a definitive fix. If the box adapt itself on the length of the text, maybe we can avoid cut text or font compression.
I don't know if that tooltip is fixed length or if it's a grafical fix image, but if it's a software created box maybe he can be able to give it a more flexible behavior. This way no tweaks, just automatic adaptation to the text ( Italian has same issue, i was just able to workaround a bit using a synonymous verb which was shorter than the previous. Thank god Italian language sometimes has this good flexibility. But having a flexible box can simply make it perfect for our needs! )
EDIT: forgot to say: that's , obviously, if that operation is not too much of an hassle to implement. In that case, what the hell, we can live without it.![]()
BigFAN, I had already made a translation with 295 lines, I propose to join forces to co-translation, because in your translation some words are missing, although they fit into the space and some of the wording wrong

The latest update, you can display most of the text, but there is still some missing words. I re-translated version of the language file 295 line, v2 version.LANG_XX.TXT
