ah true ye almost forgot that, tho for most people, i thnk, ftp is easier since they're used to it from other managers,... and im not sure if its that hard to implement a better ftp version with multiple connections :P so having both would be ideal
yeah I forgot that Tron had the glowing, but don't worry I'm still making the theme you requested...
I'll start it tomorrow/later today I guess...
Samus, took a long time to do, so I need some rest, and gotta work tomorrow...
and guys if you have a request, let me know. as long as it's not something tacky, feed my brain with new ideas...![]()
lol i just edited the blue lines and the words uptop into my cut & paste jobbie...
[QUOTE=Apachai;658871]
- option for tagging games with R1 (patch mode needed),BR (disk needed), preferably as icons on the left side of the game title.
- ^ remember the settings used for each game (r1, disk needed,..)
- manual cover download
- multiman remembers last game played, and highlights it on start/jumps to that game in the list (ALREADY COVERED LASTGAME)- make the patch mode symbol in the right upper corner more visible (eg. bigger font and brighter color + black border/outline if someone uses a bright background) YES DO THIS PLEASE!!!!
- maybe improve the ftp (integrate modified blackbox 1.2? its faster and allows multi connections) (COVERED BY NETHOST)
- configuration from within multiman (
I second each of these suggestions, i really think there are some good ideas here.
Here is one of my own but i fear it is outside hte scope of multiman, also i am not even sure if this is possib.e
Could there be some kind of HDD diagnostic simliar to a health check. Putting all these files on and off, and ftping small files back and forth is a lot of work for these drives. To be able to check the health of my (suspected failing) hard drive would be great
i would love to see multiman automatically patching the eboot.bin for 3.50+ games! ^_^
[lang=fr]Condorstrike, why dont you create a FNV Pipboy theme?[/lang]

That would be questionable though...
Edit:
Dean, would you consider implementing a batch copy option? Perhaps after the user selects a game to be copied, he/she could be presented with the option to select another game to add to the queue or copy the existing queue. I suggest this because I've spent a decent amount of time individually restoring the games to my brother's PS3 after an "incident."I believe this may be due to an issue with multiMAN properly reading the total number of files/complete folder size-based on my observations. For example, this occurred with BLES00707, the game "Wet."
Also, during the course of restoring things, I noticed that the screen overlay with the progress bar is not always consistent with the actual copy progress. It will sometimes disappear a good deal of time prior to when the copy is actually about to complete.

I'm not longer able to add to/edit the previous post.
I have also noticed that in some cases the screen overlay with the progress bar will disappear well before the copy of a given title has completed. Based on what I have seen, multiMAN may not be properly summing the total file/folder size. One title I can provide as the most recent example is "Wet"-BLES00707.
Additionally, and this may have been a fluke, my buddy had controller one and hit the PS button during a copy. The PS3 froze at that point and he was never able to leave the shutdown menu.
Edit: My two posts are a bit of a mess because I've kept myself occupied with wine during the copy process.
My apologies!
