well kinda, since i wrote where to find it in that post. but his brain was probably like -> search post for filename of interest and link -> filename found, link not found -> search incomplete->abort any brain activity-> thus post not properly read/understood xD
but yeah unfortunately people are way too lazy nowadys. u see new threads+the same questions on every page all the time nowjust so annoying that i barely even post anymore (unless i have some sort of interest in the thread and have nothing better to do at that moment^^)
sorry if this a noob question, but what does Dean meant with (For firmwares 03.40 - 03.55)? It does work with 3.55? Thanks
I have now reinstalled all the new stuff for multiMAN including both the v1.12.04 PKG (same as I installed last time) and the full set of themes, and apparently this has corrected something that was wrong earlier.
Now it does work like it should, just like you say, so apparently the sound management problems I saw in my previous test were due to some remnants from earlier debug attempts with v1.12.02 and v1.12.03, which have now been cleared out by my reinstalling not only multiMAN itself, but also the themes.
I've noted the same myself and drawn the same conclusion, but for the time being I think we can settle for restarting an MP3 from scratch and likewise simply reloading a theme when we want to re-activate its sound.but what i noticed just now lol, is there a "continue mp3/sound.bin playback" command? didnt find one, so i had to load the mp3/sound.bin from file manager again. why not make start+[] toggle(play/pause) the last used sound/mp3? :P
Best regards: dlanor
oh crap condor...i hadnt looked at tron skin yet...i shouldve cut and pasted the words for buttons uptop too for now...lol
ye its not a big deal really but there's always a bit room for improvementand since there was a lot of off-topic talk, here are some things, probably already mentioned at some time, which i'd like to see someday in multiman:
- option for tagging games with R1 (patch mode needed),BR (disk needed), preferably as icons on the left side of the game title.
- ^ remember the settings used for each game (r1, disk needed,..)
- manual cover download
- fast forward/rewind mp3 playback, eg with select+holding right/left on dpad and toggle playback with start+[]
- multiman remembers last game played, and highlights it on start/jumps to that game in the list
- make the patch mode symbol in the right upper corner more visible (eg. bigger font and brighter color + black border/outline if someone uses a bright background)
- maybe improve the ftp (integrate modified blackbox 1.2? its faster and allows multi connections)
- fast and smooth scrolling for games list (eg with right stick) as this is kinda better than jumping with left/right imo
- configuration from within multiman
@miccy
no currently it does not work, we need syscalls for 3.55 cfw and the pkg needs to be signed(afaik). but the same pkg would work for 3.40-3.55 if we had the same method for jailbreaking in 3.41-3.55 (with a dongle for example->execution of unsigned code) because the newer fw supposedly isnt much different from 3.40 in terms of loading the pkg. everything <3.40 on the other hand is different, thus a different version.
