What is with the USB.CFG file in the .rar?
I read the change log and all it says is:
* USB.CFG configuration file edit required: 0xVNID:0xPRID:V (vendor ID, product ID, V=number of volumes)
Do we need to upload this new one onto our harddrives into the multiman folder or what?
I'm slightly confused by this.
EDIT: After reading around I'm assuming this is for the NTFS Support, no?
Ok yea, so I'm assuming I need to edit this file to get NTFS support, which I'm not planning on using atm, do you drop this file after you edit it into the multiman ps3 folder I guess?

Noob and probably asked several times question:
Only copy from NTFS is supported - nothing more, nothing less
Does this mean we can only use a NTFS external to copy 4GB+ files to the internal for now?
No playing 4GB+ movies/games from external?

You can use internet connection for web browser, game updates, multiman updates, just no psn. If you have internet always connected, at times you will be reminded that there is a new firmware or you may accidentally update. the spoofer is so that you don't have that problem. It won't let you update because it thinks its already on the latest version.

I just wanted to be sure.
Being able to copy means the ps3 can read I guess.
We probably need a new CFW though right?

For all those repeatedly asking about NTFS support.
The PS3 system CANNOT read from ntfs drives.
What has so far been discovered/released is the ability for HOMEBREW apps to be able to read from an ntfs drive.
So HOMEBREW can read from ntfs, PS3 cant.
What this means is that when in Multiman (which is homebrew), multiman can see the ntfs drive.
When you select a game and are sent back to XMB, you are now in gameos (which is PS3), and therfore the PS3 cannot see the files as they are on the ntfs drive, as if you had just unplugged the drive.
This is the reason for...
Only copy from NTFS is supported - nothing more, nothing less
So hopefully now you understand a little as to why, you cannot play your games from ntfs.
Homebrew and homebrew ONLY can see ntfs drives.

Thanks
That's the first actual explanation I read hehe
Still, can we expect a CFW with the driver and therefore PS3 NTFS reading capabilities?
