There is no asynchronous read/write operations so it is a bit slower (but not that much slower). About 99% lock - i really have no idea why it is happening to some of you people. I tried copying different folders at least 100 times and it never happened to me.

could it be the file sizes?? It was 1000+ files, 62 folders and size of about 41Gb. Well this is the first lock up i had with multiman only with ntfs, never experienced any lock ups on fat32. Could be a glitch, let me try it again with a different game backup & a different usb hdd.

Dean how to I disable the constant game cover downloads? takes like 45 seconds each time and it happens every single time I scroll past a game. Even after there all installed.

I had the same problem one time (freeze on 99% copied files), but it happen because i don't push the "circle" for exit the interface "official" to interface "multiman", and I haven't got any others problem

Edit "options_default.ini" or "options.ini" from .rar (then yo must copy the file in ps3 directory, /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR, of multiman or by FTP server.

the parameter: set to 0 for undisable the download covers auto.

Option: download_covers
# Valid Parameter: 0 - do not download missing covers
# Valid Parameter: 1 - auto download missing covers (default)
download_covers=0

I have a little problem with ntfs support. I tryed to connect my external hdd to ps3. On this hard drive i have many stuffs (programs ect) but also folder GAMES where i keep ps3 files which i want to try copy to internat. However when i pres Start + triangle, and get msg to connect external i do it, after this i get information pleas wait, next it return to main menu of multiman. From this moment it stuck i cant do anything only thing is working is song in Multiman, i can move or change selection i have to use power switch to disable my ps3. Any sugestion?

Did you edit the USB.CFG to match your external hdd's PID/VID?

i edited usb.cfg and copied to multiman's usdir

Hi Guys, just after some help, I have installed the CFW 3.55 and installed the new Multiman, All that happens is it flashes a couple times and goes straight back to the xmb. I have tried the permisson fix and also a full restore.
any helps on what can be the issue

So i tried it again and now it froze at verifying source. I tried a different usb hdd which worked fine with fat32 but not with ntfs it wont detect and it'll lock up multiman. I made sure to change the vid/pid and in lowercase. Guess i'll go back to fat and transfer larger files through crossover until the bugs are worked out.
