I was not thinking that this should add any burden to you.
I was imagining something similar to freemcboot.info

This site already provides hosting for many pkg files. I also imagined a portal could host the autodownloaded covers and a download page dedicated to your multiMAN pkgs. Someone (who likes to make themes) might offer web graphics and others might code pages for FAQ's or Q&A pages. I am not volunteering anyone's time.

hey dean after installing newest version my assassins creed brotherhood doesnt show up in games list anymore in writing...the background and covers there its just no longer listed...it shows game in drive then blank spot then ac2...

edit: i just noticed it doesnt highlight a drive at bottom anymore either for it...which makes me seem to recall that it had a weird install...probably something on my end and just need to reinstall...

Hi, sorry to bother you dean but since i updated from 1.12.01 to .03, i can't load any backups anymore. the manager loads fine and the games are recognised but when i press X on a game, the manager gets stuck and i have to hard reset. Everything was working fine this afternoon on 1.12.01. could you please look into it. Oh and i'm using PL3 no unauth payload (the official one from Kakaroto's git, no spoof or whatever). cheers

Neither of these problems are related to multiMAN.

1) michael: If it doesn't show the game it means it can't find its PARAM.SFO (or read it)

2) james: if it locks - it means it can't access the PARAM.SFO.

I personally tested couple of games (with hermes) before releasing it and all was okay. I'll check with PL3.

edit: Yes.. it locks AGAIN with PL3... it happened couple of weeks ago and I fixed it.. I don't know what's going on here - let me check it again.

ok i deleted ac:b restarted multiman now ac2 doesnt show...so it seems theres something wrong with the first game in list thats not in drive....

I am trying to backup my trophies to my external drive and cant figure how to get multiman to do it. Do I need yo use FTP?

I removed scanning for 2nd level subfolders. Check if your games are under one level like:

/dev_hdd0/GAMES/AC3_BLABLA/PS3_GAME

and not

/dev_hdd0/GAMES/BLES12345/AC3_BLABLA/PS3_GAME

dean : cheers for the reply but i just reinstalled 1.12.01 and everything works again. i tried 1.12.03 with 2 games (one had the param.sfo edited, the other was original) and both locked up multiman. It might have something to do with PL3 but god knows what. As i said, reinstalling .01 above .03 corrected everything

Secondly, Dean, have you ever thinked about making a multilanguage version? If i can be of help, I can translate in italian all

and not

/dev_hdd0/GAMES/BLES12345/AC3_BLABLA/PS3_GAME

its /dev_usb0/GAMES/Assassins Creed II/PS3_GAME...it loads fine and runs, just the name doesnt show in list and drive isnt highlighted at bottom...im gonna try and delete it too and see if it does it to next one in list which is currently showing name in list and boots fine...


EDIT: ok i just deleted ac2...before i leave multiman first game is still blank and for some reason drakes fortune is first under it then rest of list alphabetically....demon souls showing in list....exit to xmb...back to multiman...first game in list doesnt show again...its blank for demon souls and drakes fortune is back in proper spot...this was exactly what happened with acb too....deleted it , drakes showed up as first game under blank spot for ac2...
