Not with the most recent video file. This one is an .mp4 file. I have tried mkv files though and the same things happens. No success in running them after conversion with MultiAVCHD. I'll give popBD a try I guess. I have no confidence at the moment though!

popBD would be okay for mkv and some other files. However, for .mp4 and other HD files it's no good. There's no compatibility for some HD type files.
MultiAVCHD just gives me tons of errors. Program tries to close out all the time from Windows. Are there any other programs that works good for converting to AVCHD?
What about tsMuxer? Is it good enough for converting different file types to AVCHD? Thanks!

I have searched and read through these pages and haven't found an answer. I'm not a NOOB to stuff like this, but I can't seem to see what I'm missing. I have searched google and other forums. I'm just looking for a point in the right direction that is all. If someone would be so king to help me out with that I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

No, by ejecting the disk, it didn't detect it. (detecting the disk(very little if any laser user) or reading from the disk (a whole lot of laser use) which would you prefer?

I've notice some games need the patch installed first to run initial setup, check to see if those game have update or not (I think this work for me on Demon's Souls)

Of course first =) I just want to know, how often this check is happening? I think that BR drive in my unit is not as good as it was: longer loading times, random freezes, mechanical noise, etc.
And that is why i choose a multiMAN - copy all games without install option to HDD and move repair costs to the future

For some reason I just get a blank list in multiman when i use the FTP. It worked a long time ago, not sure whats wrong now.

checks every time you start a game ( not so much the laser checking more of the drive itself) just a check though not even a spin up, checks the un-writable area more to make sure it's not a illegally burned disk

Quick question, anyone know the feasability of mounting that section of the disk permanently? For all of us without lasers, since it doesn't matter which disk you use, and surely BM's could read this section when ripping since it can be done from XMB..
I can get my drive to reset by holding eject for 12 seconds, so it's still active (as well as running homebrew etc) so is it the logic board needs modding or can it be done through software?
The mirror bdvd is a great idea, but maybe it's looking for more, hence why I'm thinking of modding my BR drive to make it think there's a disk inside, then make it think it's a PS3 game by using MM's new feature.. Half the battle is getting the drive to show on the XMB I guess, might have a look at the XML and see if it can be tweaked to just always display.
