Update later to 01.15.01 - it should work.
any chance we'll be seeing the Select+Cross feature implemented for games on the internal drive or is this something that can only be achieved from an external? thanks
It can be achieved only for external (usb/sdhc/memorystick).
@deank:
Could you please implement this:
http://psx-scene.com/forums/f177/log...eleased-78739/ (LogJam Intelligent Log Stealthing released)
Gaia has it already and it works good.
It is better than removing the log files.
Thanks
Thanks Deank for making the best backup manager on ps3!
But theres only one thing that could be improved to make it perfect.
I would like the option dim_titles=0 to actually disable the title names instead of disabling the dimming of them, that way i could just boot up the manager and have a nice clean cover flow interface.
multiman is multilaguage? i wanna see this marvelous app in spanish![]()
So from what i can think of, the select + x launch copies the game disc files to the root of the external storage and multiman pokes a patch that redirects using a table so the dev_bdvd points to the external storage ? Thats why no syscalls are used?
So the problem with these black screen games was because they were fragile with any additional (payload with syscalls) code on the RAM?
Could that be a protection from the developers or something?
And if that's how it works, does multiMAN "unloads" any payload from the memory when select + X launching to achieve funtionality of these games?
Thanks in advance for any clarification Dean
With a PSN rootkit system ready and waiting to launch, we shouldn't bother too much about logs ATM
