Those Hermes ports should be front page news...I had no idea they existed....
So, basically these payloads affect the compatibility not the game managers.
Am I correct in this assumption?
Yes and no... the payload is the single most important part, but each manager uses different methods to load games and some even use completely different syscalls, which has a positive/negative effect on compatibility. Though in MM's defence, I've not yet encountered a single game that worked on OM/BM that doesn't work on MultiMAN .. and, indeed, some that actually work BETTER.
Ok, so I d/l a bunch of themes for MM, which I love btw, thanks Dean.
The theme I wanted to try was Condorstrikes #10 but it's not in .pkg form. How do I install? Thanks for helping a noob .
ok maybe i am dumb but i cant figure out what IP tp put in for this hostgui app. I have tried my gateway, as well as the ip my router assigned my pc, which is 192.168.1.107
any advice
It should say the IP of your PS3 in MM.
Mine is usually 192.168.1.6
putting the ip of your ps3 would not work because that would connect your ps3 to you....PS3, i figured it out its for the pc ip.
Also could you please put some transfer speed information on the nethost copy screen, i like to be able to see how fast its going.
No one can tell me how to install a MultiMan theme that's not in .pkg form?
Thanks for the reply sabin, someone must know.
