Can someone help this idiot, MultiMan has been running fine then when in menu pressed R1 and now all my games have gone. External HDD is still showing as using the space but now on drive is garbage folders and files which sort of spell strange stuff, example first folder name is:
and the . te, next folder:
Computer. En, then
is subj.ect, and so it goes on down to files with no extensions.
What have I done and how do I fix it ?

Finally got round to updating to latest version since the whole 3.55CFW started.

Tested a few games fine, no problems (LPB1+2, Monsters Vs Aliens, Create, Marvel Ultimate Alliance)

Can I ask though.....does anyone have Star Wars Force Unleashed working? It used to work fine for me using my dongle with Hermes payload.

I did of course, delete all game data and saves. Also, ran the R1 fix permissions on it...but I just get a black screen.

Ive just started using 01.14.00 - its a great backup manager had a n00bie ish question so hope its ok, as ive become a bit confused of late over Lv2 patching and fixing permissions.

Do i need to run anything extra after lauching MUltiMAN to play a game, or is all that fixing done on the fly now? ive read Lv2 pathching is now builtin. My issue im having atm is GT5 EUR rip. it simply dosent show in the manager. supposed to be a premodified EBOOT and stuff, but it wont display as a item in the games list. So does this mean i need a persmiissions fix?

any help plz?

For first try to verify the folder structure using FTP (if on internal HDD) because EBOOT is needed to play the game and not to show up in manager

About ps3_content - I don't know.

For me and my copy of Heavy Rain Move Edition with bonus themes, the PS3_Content only appears on XMB when a disc is in the drive. Should be the same for bonus videos.

Heavy Rain:ME uses PS3_EXTRA folder for that. So don't compare it with GoW Collection and GT5 US - where PS3_CONTENT folder is used. We just need to map it to XMB->Video. Maybe MM can do that?

Bah, this thing doesn't work. I've tried 10 games and none of them work. They load on multiman, I go back to PS3 OS, run the game, some install, but after I try to run them and the screen goes dark and I'm back at the PS3 OS.

clearly youve done something wrong if youre referring to multiman doesnt work...works fine here

This thread is really big so i dont know if this has been asked, but how do you disable xmb background?It wasnt in earlier versions, and i preferr it without background.
I tried deleting PIC1.PNG which works at first, but when you load multiman again, its back.
Only thing that seems to work is creating a transparent 1920x1080 PNG and replacing PIC1.PNG with it, but there is still a lag in xmb when passing by multiman icon.

Just wondering if theres a better way to get rid of the background?
