oh yeah, depending on the game, some install 4gb of info. add up everything, games installed, game data installed, etc and see how much of it is taking up space.

Just created a pkg for valkyria chronicles, I made the shadow copy as it said and the game works from the XMB but theres one problem, it seems the shadow copy took up waay more space than what other people are saying. My HDD went from 162gb to 140 or so, any reason for this? The game itself is 15gb.

edit: Also I want to add that when I was creating the copy it took well over what it should to create a "shortcut" of sorts, I tried this with a 5gb game earlier and it created the copy within seconds, with valkyria chronicles it's taking up to 15 minutes or so and seems to be copying most of the data rather than just creating a shortcut.

I was trying to find out if everything works the same as if going through multiman to boot, if so then I will create these pkg's for all my games and have them all on my XMB.

Would any games / functions not work by playing via shadow copy rather than via multiman?

    Thanks
every game should work using multiMAN, I'm only doing shadow copy for games with blackscreen like POP forgotten sands which don't work using any manager but works using shadow copy, and since the last time I used this feature dean said updates didnt work so was just wondering if there was any changes on that this time around or is it still the same thats all

even tho is a shadow copy, for some reason its like an actual copy of the game in those folders, dunno why since shadow copy is just like a mirror to the actual folder so it shouldn't take the same space as the size of the game
