First of all deank thank you for your work.
My question is : if i mount a blu ray movie (ripped ) will i be able to playback dolby true hd audio or dts hd master audio , as i can when the original disc is inserted? Do i need the disc? If i rip it and convert it to AVCHD with HD audio will it work? My biggest hope for ps3 and multiman is that in the near future it will become a real Media Player with mkv + hd audio support, movie database etc. and it will replace my HTPC.

#giol: Yes, if your original blu-ray movie rip is not BD-J (read the first page) it can be converted to AVCHD and you can play DTS-MA/HRA, TrueHD, LPCM 7.1.

    Okay, guys!

I really wanted to make the next version available today as a surprise, but family deals took me away from the PC.

I'll try to publish the new version tomorrow. It has full read+write access to nethost pc, delete files, copy files/folders, support for ICON0.PNG in theme packages and some other things.

    Happy New 2011, folks!

    Dean

    Happy New Year!

I have searched everywhere. Can you please tell me what is nethost? Is it for FTP files back and fourth from the PC to the PS3?

I am waiting on my PS3key so my FAT pS3 is not yet jailbroken so I am trying to learn all about Multiman so that when I install it on my PS3 I am ready to go.

Sorry if its a dumb question

    Dean, first off, great work!

I do have a Q on your advice below:

I'm trying to do something similar. That is, move my folder of backups within my internal HDD only.

When I press [SELECT]+[O], there isn't a response. I was reading that this command was disabled in previous multi-man iterations.

I'm just wondering if I'm just screwing up or if it still isn't implemented?

    Thanks

it allows you to play a game, then if you reboot your ps3, you can play the LASTGAME you played without going back into multiman. Sort of like a bookmark

I currently have an extra ps3 (was in service mode since like 2years and finally took it back to retail.) The BD does not seem to work.

Is it a requirement for multiman to have the BD working? As soon as I launch the latest, I get a black flickering scree...

    thanx
