Why do I keep getting an error saying that no resident payload is detected when I boot up multiman? And how do I resolve this?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry , am a bit confused..

I think the lv2.pkg is corrupted inside the latest multiMAN version ... when I installed the lv2.pkg as a standalone ... multiMAN worked !!!
Please check and help
Thanks
Really, your asking THOSE questions. Did you not see this about 3 pages above.

I don't want to sound dumb but do you use the ebootfix on your pc or is there a way to use it on the ps3? I'm trying to use it to fix hot persuit. Any help is much appreciated and keep up the great work !! Btw I brought my ps3 2 days ago and before playing anything I used the guides from here to use custom firmware

README
Drag and drop a PS3 game folder to ebootFIX.exe.
For example drag&drop
X:\GAMES\MY_GAME\PS3_GAME
or
X:\GAMES\MY_GAME
or
X:\GAMES\MY_GAME\PS3_GAME\USRDIR
to ebootFIX.exe.

For me Multiman 1.12 (latest of 1.12) works best with syscall35.pkg, on the lvl2 packages it seems to lock up way more often on kmeaw cfw.
Also all of the managers with payload included seem to lockup lots more then the one which doesnt use the payload yet.
Using 60gig fat from launchday.
as for people saying there's no option to search within the thread, theres a button on every page within the thread to search within thread....

thats a joke isn't it?
it says "drag and drop" and .exe
for me this is clearly on your PC!!
if it closes to fast and u cant read the error, u have to do it manually by commandline commands.
than u can see the error text

i am at work now, so i cant test it.
but i THINK u have to type ebootFIX.exe "Path to the PARAM.SFO"
something like: "ebootfix.exe C:\PS3Games\BLUS23123\PS3_GAME"
if u do so, u should see the error message. because the window will not close by itself
