I'm at MM 1.13.00 but when I try to update the MM to 1.13.01 inside the MM by hitting R3 it gives me: "Error occured while contacting the update server! Please try again later." Why am I getting this error, while it works for everyone else?
Quick question do i delete multiman 1.13.00 before i install the new version or do i just install it over?
whats the difference theres
multiMAN ver 1.13.01 BASE [20110121_170000] 355GH
multiMAN ver 1.13.01 BASE [20110121_170000]
what one do i install?
im running kmeaw cfw
I really think a new thread would be the order of the day for MM. The page has really become too cluttered, making it nigh on impossible to search for previous info unless willing to spend a couple of hours each day to read everything thats posted.
Unfortunately theres also too much redundant info on here too. Yes, people come on and ask the obvious 'basic' questions each day and that'll never stop.......but then some reasonable questions also get asked...to be told to just search the thread. But then if you try to search the thread there is much that may have been true a few weeks back and recommended, but now not true and causing problems. And then you do so much reading, and then read something else that someone has posted......even though what they're posting is out of date info that they believe to be right, which then throws head in a spin trying to remember where coming or going
Maybe a brand new thread......1st few posts being the main info page as it is currently...and the next post dedicated for the main Q&A/FAQ of the app that can be updated as it goes along (questions such as the basics, recommendations to current syscall and fixes, and ensuring that people must ALWAYs delete their game data when testing different methods out to get the game working....otherwise its an endless cycle)......then any stupid questions could just be deleted....and the q&a can get rectified as and when there has been big scene or version changes
Edit the options_default.ini file

I don't have problems with AVCHD playback from USB-direct or HDD-mounted-USB.

If you like multiMAN or multiAVCHD, support the development with a small donation. Click here.

The 'Disgaea 3' game as supplied on the original disc always locks up with all backup managers, but if you install the updates from PSN it begins working fine, at least with multiMAN (the only manager I use nowdays).

ok so little big planet 2 only works if there is a game disc in the drive.

Still getting a lot of lock ups..had to turn off the PS3 with the power switch at the back every time.
Five lock ups with 01.13.00 and again two with the new 01.13.01..all of them on one single day.
Now I deleted the payload folder, ran the fixpermissions (for safety's sake) and used the very first lv2.pkg again. After that I started multiMAN/lv2.pkg like ten times (turning the console completly off and back on again every time) and it works like a charm.
