Question: what the hell does Syscall 35 Patcher do ?
Frozen Black Screen And Requires Manual Shutdown
If your PS3 hard locks when loading a backup and requires you to either power off at the back or hold in the power button it is most likely a file permissions problem.
To fix:
* Download Fix Permissions PKG
* Download Syscall 35 Patcher
* Install both.
* Run Syscall 35 Patcher.
* Run Fix Permissions App.
* The process may take a few minutes and will display only a black screen whilst it is working.
* Once finished you will be returned to the XMB.

If you're talking about the background, that's not a theme, it's the cover of that game. Otherwise you need to back up a shit ton of stuff.

It seems like a simple enough thing to do but i just cant get my options.ini to take in multiman.
Can anyone tell me how to get my edited options.ini to work.
set display mode to 1
set progress bar to 0
set direct launch to 0
I edited the file on my computer and copied it as options.ini to the /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR/ folder.
didn't work
deleted the old options.ini then copied
didn't work
renamed to options_default.ini then deleted all ini's in the user directory then copied it in
didn't work..........
banged head off wall and swore like a sailor
didn't work
no matter what i do once I close down multiman and reopen it the options are @ there default settings
What am I overlooking or doing wrong?
I'm realy feeling like a newb here on something that should be stupid easy.
@deank in menu option mode would be an awsome new feature in the future <3 ur work man
Pretty easy, you have to copy the options.ini to a USB pen drive, plug it in the PS3 and when you launch multiMan it will inherit it from there.
Good luck!

Hi guys.
I have an odd problem.
I uninstalled LBP2 via the recent game icon accidently and now everytime i try to load the game it freezes before i have a chance to reinstall. Just the black screen of death and nothing more.
It's no doing this with every BM avail for 3.55 where it was running perfectly before.
Where exactly does it store the info when installing?
Cheers Guys

To put it very simply, it changes the way multiman loads backups. I think... it's all very technical.

The last time I deleted a game and MM lost its mind, I ran the LV2 pkg before running MM and it seemed to work. Might be worth a shot.

I'm not sure if this has been asked. How do you change backups' names in Multiman?
