It depends on how your files are named. If you want to join them you have to copy the first file to the internal hdd and mm will join the second during the copy.

For it to work your files have to be named with proper extension

    blablabla.pkg.0
    blablabla.pkg.1

    or

    blablabla.pkg.001
    blablabla.pkg.002

    or

    blablabla.pkg.66600
    blablabla.pkg.66601

Copy the 1st and you'll get a joined file.

Did not work for me. I had both 66600 and 66601 files that was uploaded via FTP. I deleted 66601 from the HD. I put it on a flash drive then copied it to the same folder at the 66600 file(adding the 66601 to the folder that just had the 66600 file), and it just listed the 2 files, no changes, no joined file. I used the build in OS and file manger for the copy.

The files are named the same besides the 66600 and 66601

Am I doing something wrong ? I have never delt with a split file.

How are you splitting the files in the first place? If you are just renaming them, it may not work. You need a tool in order to have them split.

Using multiMAN File Manager to copy split files to the internal HDD, it will then unite the split files. But if you copy them to just another FAT32 HDD, then it will not.

Since you FTP'd the files, they will not be automatically united, until you use multiMAN to copy them to the internal HDD using File Manger.

Read again my post above and you'll find what you're doing wrong (or actually not doing). I guess your steps are these (except last 2):

    1) Split the big file on your PC and you get 2 files
    2) You have a small USB stick so you copy both files one at a time
    3) You got both files on your internal HDD
    4) Now select the 1st file and select Copy->Paste to ANOTHER location in your internal HDD
    5) Files will be joined

If you had a larger usb stick or usb hdd then you can skip steps 3-4 by having both split files on the usb stick and copying the 1st to the internal, which will join both.

Another way to deal with such stuff is to use net_host folders from your PC and copy the files directly (speed is the same as FTP but you won't have to join/split anything).

Hi ! thanks for this great manager, just a quick question:

I just did a fresh kmeaw install using this the guide on
    Forums-->General Jailbreak Discussion-->CFW kmeaw + OFW 3.55 + GAIA 2.05 ready to install pack

I transfered a backup using Multiman built in ftp server
The backup mounted and played OK using multiman.

I thought i needed BDEMU to run backups ?
Hermes Payload is showing and being used in BD-ROM Emulator option in Multiman

Do I need to install BDEMU ?

You should always tells us what version of multiMAN you are using.

If you are using the latest versions (ver 4 and up) of multiMAN, BDEMU is no longer necessary.

The one you have now, doesn't require you to install BDEMU. But there is a new update to multiMAN: http://psx-scene.com/forums/content/...-support-2350/

No problem, this is why we are here.

    Dear All,

I have just installed mmOS latest version 4.4.01 and I changed the display mode to "mmOS" since then, everytime when i start mmOS, I was direct to mmOS screen, since I was new to the mmOS, I wonder how to get out from mmOS back to system menu and I would like to change the display mode back to other, can someone tell how to do so ?
    Appreciated...... a lot

Either double click on the "Games" icon from the mmOS screen or press "SELECT+START" or L1 or R1 (four different ways to leave mmOS).
