@JSK23, I briefly allow my PS3 to connect to the internet before doing a scan with MM, it will automatically download the missing game covers.

Hei Deank, a good feature for multiman would be an FTP client. This is because almost all Nas servers have a built-in torrent download server and ftp server, so after a NAS download you could transfer directly this files from NAS to PS3 without having to do it as NAS->PC->PS3. Do you have plans for working in to it?

Am I the only one who finds MultiMan's file manager painfully slow when it has to handle lots (1,000's) of small files in games such as Way of the Samurai 4? Comgenie's file manager transfers much faster for me with games like this.

    You're not the only one.

    hi peoples

still new to ps3 jailbreak/multiman, my question is

no.1 will multiman eventually bypass rockstar games 'install game' rubbish? when i play gta 4 blu-ray it just loads, if i load up the HDD backup it takes 5 minutes to install before I can play, can multiman emulate the blu-ray disc
and bypass this nonsense? i don't want to LOAD the game everytime i play

no.2 how do you fast forward when watching a media files eg. an AVI? i have fiddled with it heaps and you get technical crap like press R3 or R4 you get statistical data, you press 'O' and you get lip sync stuff.....yet NO simple stuff like media player functions like stop, rewind, fastforward and skip ahead etc

no.3 why can't multiman emulate a later firmware? if its only jailbroken at 3.55 how are we to play backup OR newer games?

@astro2, since your new to the scene, it would be best to just help you find the information, so you can quickly educate yourself on these terms, this way we don't have to reply to very basic questions that you may want to learn at a later date.

Click here to download the user manual of multiMAN: multiMAN Beginner Guide.pdf or a quick review: MultiMAN - PSHomebrew

And here is the instructions of the functions for Showtime: Showtime - PSHomebrew

Keep in mind that education is key. If you read all that information. You will know as much as me or even the dev as to how MM works and functions.

We haven't heard from Dean for a while huh? He must be up to something serious and super secret. Would it be possible to have an on screen temp display in XMMB like we do in Freestyle Dash? That would be a great new feature to add.

Is there any compatibility list for the NTFS HDD support ? Someone please recommend a 2.5 external HDD of 640GB-750GB that works with the NTFS driver .
I have 640GB Western Digital My Passport 070B that doesn't work

Is there any way Multiman can be used to play original Euro/Jap games on a US 60gb PS2 compatible PS3?

It works with PSX games, but not PS2 ones.
