Hi again,
some of the links you gave me has sublinks that don't work anymore.
For example, i tryied to load tekken 6 into my ps3,
and after creating a trophy icon the game starts but showing the "commercials" the screen turned to black.
i run to ps3 compatibility list -you just gave me- and there is a note besides the tekken 6 game info.
When i try to go to the link, another link occured for a member of this forum, from April 2010 that unfortuatelly...don't work anymore.
Anyway, is there any help to play tekken 6 in to my ps3? (cfw 3,55).-external hdd (fat32)-don't know how to transfer it into my internal hdd and from my first try i've got an error 80014f14 into my apps package too!
Sad story, DAMNED you sony!
what a nice time with modded consoles...
The compatibly list I linked earlier it states that this game has 4GB+ files. So you have three options:
1) use FTP and use either FlashFXP or other FTP program and BlackBox_FTP_Server_v1.2 to make the connection and transfer from your PC to PS3 internal HDD. multiMAN also supports FTP, but I've never had any success making the connection. See the link I provide above on how to get the BlackBOX FTP server app. If the links are not working, post a reply in that thread and I am sure tthousand will tell you how to get them.
2) use the splitting method that is explained in the multiMAN guide I linked earlier. Where you split the 4GB+ files and then put your game backup to an external HDD (FAT 32) and then multiMAN will unsplit these files once they get moved to your internal HDD.
3) use a NTFS HDD--but you need to configure it. It's explained how to do this using the guide I linked earlier. You will need to just transfer the game backup (without the need of splitting files) and then copy it to the internal HDD.

Ty
as for ftp transfer i do not know a thing.
as for flash fxp i did not find it anywhere but also from google in a trial version.
i also found the blackbox ftp server 1,2.
I can imagine that from now on i have to spend lots of hours searching on google to find out what should i do, right?
Is it possible to find easy, a proper guide (1,2,3) for connecting my pc with ps3?
Any help is highly good!
Thx for your time.
And i know that you have to answer in such a stupid questions (like mine's) so many time every day.
I appreciate.
yes, FlashFXP is a commercial app. But there is a free alternative. It's called Filezilla. it's free to use.
What you need to know is how to use it. I know their website has tutorials on how to use it. Meanwhile you can view dozens of youtube videos on how to use it with PS3--using the blackbox app I mentioned above. For starters here is one:

hi again,
as i can understand i must connect ps3 to internet.
after that using filezilla & black box i can transfer files like a local net, let's say...
Question 1: Is this dangerous for my ps3? I have it completely disconnected from internet, in case of "tricky" updates which may cost me "loosing" 3,55 fw.
When i run a game, is it possible SONY tried to "ask" me for an update of that game, or am i saying stupidities...
Have in mind, that i'm playing alone (not in PSN).
Question 2: i'm still have problem with my ps3 "app_home/ps3_game" keep saying all the time for this error: "80028f14"...
Any help?
It's only a risk if you have automatic download enabled. I have that feature disabled under Settings > System Settings. Plus it's also dangerous if you go to settings and run the System Update while being online. And yes, if you have your PS3 online, it may ask you to download a game update, which you should check before hand if that update is using a SDK below 3.55--if not, then it will not work. Other than those examples are the only big risks--aside from someone at your home running these updates without your approval.
What I did to prevent this, is I have my PS3 MAC address blocked from the internet on my router Linksys WRT54G -- it has a feature which allows me to add a mac address and disallows it to connect to the internet, but it still allows my PS3 to be able to communicate with my other PCs within my home network. So it's safe. This only works if I use the PS3's wireless mode than cable (ethernet). With cable (ethernet) it's not easy to block it's access to the internet through my router.
I hope this helps.![]()

where is deank??
