Awesome update. The grouping feature on the retro column is very good.
Thank you very much!
Game backups are working as expected...however, I am having issues with AVCHD/BDMV loading/playback via MultiMan/PS3-XMB.
I was hoping someone could offer their wisdom on what I may be doing wrong. I have a mkv video file that I've tried to re-mux to AVCHD/BDM and play via MultiMan/PS3-XMB. The source file plays perfectly when using Showtime and UPnP.
Video Track:
-V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC
-1920x1080
Audio Track:
-A_DTS
-Sampling frequency: 48000
-Channels: 6
I've attempted to use tsMuxeR, tsRemux, and MultiAVCHD in efforts to create a playable AVCHD/BDMV structure. Only the output of tsMuxeR has yielded somewhat of a result...the others do not produce a structure that MultiMan recognises.
I've taken the output of tsMuxeR and copied it to my FAT32 formatted external USB drive. Then using MultiMan...I am able to mount the video and it appears on the PS3-XMB. However, when I try to load the mounted BDMV...I get an "invalid disc" error. The m2ts files in the STREAM folder is playable via Showtime...although playback is choppy. And I've even run into instances where I get a "CPU too slow to decode video" message during m2ts playback via Showtime.
I've tried numerous times with different source mkv files...still cannot playback BDMV...
I would like to write a formal howto once I figure this out in order to help others that come across this issue. I'm certain that I'm missing something here.
Please help...
Respectfully,
SiiCk
Not only retro grouping but also the sound.bin now loops
When did you sneak that one in! Or is this an embarrassing moment for me as it's been in for the last dozen or so versions :s
Regarding the mp3 player, did you see my post regarding the addition of thumbnails to album tracks? Just wondered if it was a possibility or indeed some easy fix which I can already use to match album covers to each mp3 track stored?
Many thanks in advance.

Dean, love your work man, big fan! I appreciate what you have done so far, and your constant improvements.
I was overjoyed when you added Showtime player, and I am nearly complete but for one small thing, .cue support in Showtime! Alot of my music is ripped into single file .flac with a .cue, which is perfect for me on desktop, but is slightly annoying not being able to skip tracks or enqueue when listening via PS3. If it is at all possible to fix this, and not too much trouble for your good self, could you please fix this for me!
Thankyou, much love and goodnight!

Hey Dean if you want I can work at some point in a FB Alpha drivers / romsets library for Multiman, since all FBA romsets are following the standard MAME romset naming.
It could be a simple function that would use as parameter the zip name (romset name) and a possible second parameter to indicate what you want to retrieve for example:
and when used...PHP Code:char* GetFbaInfo(char* szRomset, int nRequest);
This would allow Multiman to display the full game title in the XMMB instead of just the romset name that many people find hard to associate with some games.PHP Code:char szXMMB_Item[256];
strcpy(szXMMB_Item, GetFbaInfo("sf2.zip", FBA_DRV_TITLE));
// Add szXMMB_Item to the list
Let me know what you think, it can be a very easy to update library in case the drivers are updated and such, so anyone could update the library code. It could be as simple as 2 source files (fbalib.cpp and fbalib.h) you could add it to your source and use the main function to retrieve the needed data for Multiman.
Btw, excellent work you are doing with Multiman! Im gonna test the last update now ^^
SeeYa!

Is there a way I can join split files that I have transfered to internal with multiman?(I need to do this because my FAT32 HDD is not large enough.)

You can now group content in Game, Favorites and Retro columns:
Roms are grouped by emulator type. Games are grouped by genre.
multiMAN_2.00.05_UPD_(WITH_RAIN_AND_GROUPING) (610KB)
