    If you copy the folder TROPDIR of the games that you want to direct boot to multiMAN's folder /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/ the direct boot works without the infamous error (8002291B) registering trophies.

    Tested the direct boot with success with the following games:
    - Dead Space
    - Dead Space 2
    - Dante's Inferno
    - Bayonetta
    - Toy Story 3
    - Fallout 3 GOTY

    (inFamous, Devil May Cry, Cars: Mater National Championship, Naughty Bear) also direct boot but without copying the TROPDIR

    The TROPDIR trick above only fixes the games that boot with the error (8002291B). So not all the games can be booted directly, but the trick increases the compatibility for the ones that boot with the error.

    You can have the TROPDIR of multiple games copied in /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/, so the copy is necessary to be done only one time.

    It would be a great improvement if Dean implements the auto-copy of TROPDIR to /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/ for the games with the Direct Boot enabled. And delete it from multiMAN when the Direct Boot is disabled.
    Hi Dean
    Can you please post a message letting me know if you are working on this. I have been testing for awhile and all seems to work just fine with it. And I would like to add the direct boot changes to the backup compatibility list. Well thanks again.

    Package contains (96 MB):

    multiMAN ver 02.00.05 FULL (20110616-220000)
    ==============================
    2321 Game Covers
    lastGAME
    ps3SERV
    bdRESET
    ebootFIX/ebootMOD
    ==============================
    Showtime Media Center
    SNES9x Emulator
    GENESIS+ Emulator
    FCEU Emulator
    VBA Emulator
    FBA Emulator
    ==============================

    There will be no BASE packages from now on. There will be no more WT versions. All emulators, applications and multiMAN are compatible with FW 3.41 and 3.55 KMEAW/REBUG. People using WANINKOKO's firmware should either use "package_finalize" tool to process the installer or better switch to another firmware version. Don't moan! Online updates will still work for WN firmwares, as they are signed.

    Dean

    p.s: For those of you with 02.00.04 (use this update only if you have 02.00.00+):

    multiMAN ver 02.00.05 UPDATE (20110616-220000).pkg (8.52 MB)

    I think I've found a pretty big bug with MM 2.00.04(front page,not experimental). I don't know if this has been reported because I haven't looked throuhg the tons of pages in this thread.

    After removing my emulator ROMS manually from File Manager it locks-up the PS3 from within MM. Even after a restart(PS3 & MM) the PS3 locks up again after launching MM. It's like MM is having issues with indexing the removed files from XMMB. Once MM launches the lockup happens within a couple seconds.

    I did use the pkg installer for my ROMS & covers with the MM Retro app renamer created by Captain. I don't know if that has anything to do with this but reporting it anyhow. They install to the same place as the ones created by condorstrike so I doubt this has anything to do with it. Now, since doing this I can't keep MM running without a lockup. Thanks!

    Correction: The lockup only happens once I navigate to the 'Retro' tab from XMMB. I can go to all the other tabs just fine. As soon as I go to the 'Retro' tab the PS3 freezes. Edit: Didn't notice 2.00.05 was out. I'll update to that & see if I can get this fixed.
