What is the default display mode?
    Which cover does it show?

I say drop the web browser and put that memory to use. That's just me though. I don't use the web browser at all in mm.

I saw the same thing on first MM boot after I installed update. Was showing Soul Calibur 4 cover with background artwork at start up as it loaded and I believe I had it set for 4x2. Closed MM and went back in a few minutes later and started like normal. Didn't even consider it an issue but thought I would chime in just in case you need the info...
Thanks for the update Dean..you rock man. Great job once again.

I've installed the latest MultiMAN and the latest Snes9x, but when I want to start a ROM MultiMan says "install the latest version of Snes9x" (or something like that)

Do I need a special MultiMAN version of Snes9x, or is there something else?

Posted it here, because I don't know if it is a MultiMAN- or a Snes9x problem.

    EDIT:

I'm reading something about a MultiMAN version of Snes9x, but I can't find it. Am I stupid now?

With any display mode for me. Shows last game selected from previous session. I kinda like it if we could bet the bar resized to fit inside the cover.

Web browser is useless for me too. Drop it and use the remaining memory to enchance all display modes with better engines, and maybe new display modes.
