    I am on the initial release of 2.00.03 and haven't tried the latest update yet. I have experienced several times that my PS3 froze up when I was navigating in XMB mode since XMB mode landed. Not sure if anyone else have the same problem. btw, I have never seen the freezing in other view modes.

    @Dean:
    I've just tested the latest multiMAN version, the one you timestamped "(20110605_050700)", and as usual you have done a fine job here.

    I have no real bug complaints at all for this version, but there is one thing that I'd like you to fix, and that is the scaling of pictures with unusual dimensions. Currently some of those I've tested are weirdly scaled, to a size far greater than the physical screen, frequently resulting in a single colour filling the entire screen, even though I know that the picture contains many visible objects on a background of that colour. In some cases I can recognize a picture, even though it is weirdly scaled, such as a small icon PNG being blown up so that large parts of it are outside the visible area.

    As I see it all pictures viewed should be scaled such that all outer limits of the picture fit within the outer limits of the screen, and filling the screen entirely along at least one axis. This for the default scaling, with natural scale available by pushing a button.

    This is close to, but not identical to what you are already doing.

    Consider for example what happens when viewing your own XMB64.PNG of 64x2048 pixels, which simply results in a black screen, with no visible non-black pixels. I assume that your code is trying to scale it so that the width fills the screen, thus blowing up the picture to such an extent that the entire visible section is just a small part of the black area beneath the icons that the picture contains in the top section. Here the correct scaling would of course be to instead shrink the picture so that its Y-axis fits within the physical screen, even if that makes the width absurdly thin (for this particular case 34 pixels, rounding 33.75 up). At least that would give some visible indication of the content, which the current method does not.
    (NB: I'm using 1080p video mode, so the problem is not due to a low resolution.)

    Best regards: dlanor

    First time I've run into problems loading any backups and all other backups still work fine.... infamous 2 loads and does the game install, after it reaches 100% the install bar disappears then appears again at 9% before fading away, then the ps3 sits there at a black screen with no sound or hdd activity light. It's not frozen, I can use the PS menu to return to XMB. I have used the eboot fix ofc otherwise it wouldn't boot. Everytime I try to launch the game again it does the install again (despite game data utility showing a 2357 mb install for infamous 2). Not sure what I can do here, have tried deleting the game data and re-installing as well as using gaia manager 2.07, have tried mm on 2.00.3 (the 1st one) with both standard and hermes emulation. What am I missing here?! on kmeaw 3.55

    Thanks!

    I have tested the new Update.The XmMB works better and faster then the Original XMB.Perfekt work!!

    The thing with the Picture Viewer is right.Some pictures were zoomed to 2000% ( original size 64X64 )

    I have a big question.Is it possible,to make a different between gb,gbc and gba Roms?The same between gen and sms?So we can see what rom is for what console in XmMB.
    I think if we can store the roms in separate folders (vba/gb,vba/gbc,vba/gba,gen/gen,gen/sms),it must be possible to link an Icon for every different folder.

    My thought is,when multiMAN is searching for a Cover of a rom and find nothing,multiMAN use a "PRESET" Cover/Icon/Picture from the Romfolder.Now multiMAN use the Retro Icon from the XMB.PNG.

    @dean: In the XMMB mode, can you add the L1 and L2 button to scroll up/down in the list by letters?
    gizmomelb and justaguy like this.
