snes game problem –
06-03-2011,02:02 PM
Hi Dean, I'm Having a little problem with loading of snes games in xmmb, when on the retro icon mM starts loading the snes games then just freezes, I can scroll off the retro icon but it moves at a real snails pace.. but once off retro icon it scrolls perfectly until I go back to the retro. Never had a problem with it until the last day or two. My games are on external drive and I have tried fixing the problem myself but to no avail. Do You or anyone else have any suggestions??

Dean,
I've managed to screw up the default theme music in MM (whatever I do, I can't seem to turn it on).
It was working on the latest version, until I decided to un-install MM.
Now, if I install multiMAN v2.00.03 FULL (20110529_223000)(with SHOWTIME).pkg with or without the latest update, and check if the theme audio is turned on in the options, it won't work anymore.
See if you can fix that please.
Thanx

@AngelArc: Use the update from the previous page and post back.
@Pacman`: You did nothing wrong. There is no 'default' theme audio in the Original Theme.

Can someone help me? I downloaded version 2.00.01 MM and put it to my EXT HDD. When I try installing the PKG file, (which is the WT base one), it errors 80029567. Is there anything I can solve this? I need it so I can run Final fantasy 13 on my EXT with a 4gb file splitted into 5 parts (it's a video file).

Download 02.00.03 from the first post in this thread.
Do not use the WT version - it is not for 3.41.
Then install the latest update from the previous page (again NOT the WT!).

Dean has said he's working on folders for the different columns in xMMb mode, so I guess when he implements that it will open up a whole lot more options.
My guess is that we'll just have the retro column with a separate folder for each emulator.

Dean,
I just want the music back. What do I do, install 2.00.02 and update it with 2.00.03?
Why was it removed from 2.00.03?

You can use "Progress bar" option in XMMB SETTINGS column and disable it to avoid the lock.
Which game you tried to backup?
What firmware?
Internal to external or ..?
Thanks for replay. It doesn't happen for me either, before I updatet to the newest version. Suddenly, the problem was there.
The problem only occures for me when backup a game from internal hdd to external hdd. I tried it with mortal kombat, l.a. noir and brink. Everytime the problem is there.
I don't think it is caused by a special game. I will do some more tests.

If you want the original audio that was in original theme just drop this in usrdir or in the original theme and reapply the theme. Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!

The XMMB in the latest revision is not fast. It is BLAZING FAST. You rock Dean!
Now with this kind of speed, and since retro cover packs are building up ... maybe it's good to make it only the current ROM selection displaying its title & info (behave like the entries under Games/ Favorites column)?
