I see there are boot options in the preferences for each game and that is why I was wondering. Also... With a game like M vs. C. 3 it asked me to update the game prior to playing it. Do I want to always do this through MM or is it ok to do it when asked from the game itself.
I am pretty sure these are all MM questions and this is the correct place to ask this.
Thanks.

There is no change in SOUND.BIN in the 2.x versions. Currently it is limited to 8MB but otherwise all is the same.
Make sure you're using 02.00.02 (with the update). Remove the SOUND.BIN and try to copy it over again (either via file man or ftp - i suggest to use file manager).
Is there a toggle where to say continuous music ? It stops after the playing the track once for me now.

I don't think there is a toggle for looping. It should just loop the sound if it is alright. How are you encoding the sound? If it is at a real high bitrate it may play once but not loop. This is just a theory mind you. I have not had any issue with the bin or at3 not looping.

Bug in JPG viewer of multiMAN 2.00.02 (and earlier)
Bug in JPG viewer of multiMAN 2.00.02 (and earlier) –

@Dean:
I've recently become aware of a bug in the JPG viewer as used from XMMB and file manager, in that the L1 and R1 buttons sometimes incorrectly exit from view mode without having reached the start or end picture (respectively).
When I enter view mode at one end of a list of pictures I can often reach the opposite end of that list, but if I turn around at any point I can virtually never reach the starting point again, as the view mode is incorrectly ended before reaching it.
And if am in XMMB and start JPG viewing at any point other than the first picture of the 'Photo' group, then it always seems impossible to back to that picture (may vary for other picture collections though).
I can't quite put my finger on exactly how this bug really works, but it is clear that something needs to be fixed in how the viewer's termination condition is evaluated.
Best regards: dlanor

Currently you can achieve it by using external payload-application like "Payloader3" by an0nymous (it supports all known firmwares) or wait until I implement BDEMU315.BIN and BDEMU341.BIN for MFWs 3.15/3.41. Then if you have a MFW with peek+poke support you can launch your PS3 without a dongle and mount games in multiMAN (quite the same way as it is currently implemented for 3.55KMEAW+BDEMU).

I am trying to get assassins creed 1 working. I am on multiman 1.16.11 because I am still on FW 3.15. I am using PSfreedom to jailbreak my PS3.
I am unable to use the select + X combo to launch black screen games from external HDD, cause there is no bdemu for my FW.
Will there ever be a BDEMU315.bin? I can't work out how to use Payloader3...
EDIT:
I managed to get it working eventually. I used Rogero's 8.3 beta 2. Found a post elsewhere which gave me some clues about running black screen games on FW 3.41. Using those clues I worked out that I needed to load a dev payload and then use the BD disc required option.
Game works now!
