Sorry if already mentioned.. Multiman v2.00 saves settings made in XMMB but when looking at the default_options.ini you can't manually edit them like you used to . Where does it remeber settings now ? What happens if you lock the display mode to ..say..4x2 mode and you want to acces the file manager or XMMB ?

XMB integration is the way to make this "pile of code" to look "light & fast" (even when is not, because 22mb for a backup manager is far away from a light app)

The first usefull thing was the addition of the "help" messages, something needed lot of time ago (in the first releases) when the amount of "button shorcuts" growed huge enought to not be usables for a "final user"
Yeahh, i dont plan to spent lot of hours learning how to use button shorcuts for functions that are not needed in a backup manager

The other thing that i dont like are "covers"... i cant understand this "kiddy" addiction to covers, maybe are cool to the eyes of the noob users, but are clearly against the idea of a "ligh & fast" app
The app needs to load the cover for a external file... so this cant be as faster as load the icon0.png included in the game
BTW... the idea to add covers comes from microsoft, but notice that this covers comes included in the game (downloaded from the store), but this does not depend of a huge "cover database" as multiman has

Im not trying to be unrespectfull with deank, and i recognise the work done, but this is a "pile of code"
Ideally in my mind... this "thing" must be modular, and the installation must be modular in the same way because lot of people dont needs avcd player, cover support, webrowser, filemanager and lot of things that are included "by default"

Im tempted to try this new version with the XMB integration, but i refuse to use it by now, 22mb is huge
I write this message with the hope that dean cosider the idea of making a "ripped version" eficient, light and fast, fully integrated with XMB for "serious users" (the ones that dont makes suggestions and refuses to use the app, like me)

No one is twisting your arm to use deans work. If you dont want to use a 22mb(actually 9 douche bag) backup manager thats your problem bro....and we dont want to hear about it. Some display modes need covers deal with it...if you like scrolling to reading names gratz.... if you dont want covers dont use covers bro. I am eagerly awaiting your work because by the sounds of it i am sure you could do a much better job... fag...

This 'pile of code' is exactly 516 272 bytes (504KB).

The BASE package is 9MB (not 22).

FYI "Comegenie's FM" which is only a File Manager is 629KB (which is 125KB BIGGER than multiMAN) and it only does one poor thing.

multiMAN is not a 'backup manager'. Now go away.
