From ps3s music list but from file manager and also from my flashdisk
About 20 songs is there

no idea then mate....
i faced a similar problem but the folder had a lot of files in it (500+)...
should be working for you as i just checked the latest release and music plays fine....
how big is the file you are playing???maybe it might be a problem with the encoding of the file??

try copying the file to your ps3 hard disk and playing it

dont think the file size is a problem....
just played a 60 mb mp3 file....played fine

might be the encoding or a problem with your flash drive..

Sorry about that - I meant that both Sony 3.55 and KMEAW 3.55 should be installed from the XMB - NOT service mode as user asked. - took it for granted that the user would know that this should be done through USB media (NOT through a network update).

Hey dean is there anyway I can stop the game background from appearing in display mode 3? I'm on the newest multiman and it lags my list when I try to scroll quickly because it has to access the USB HDD for the picture. Just curious.

Edit: Basically I was wondering if in Custom BG mode (# Valid Parameter: 3 - Custom BG + PIC1.PNG mode) can you have it so it does not display PIC1.PNG behind the text like in the older versions? (Thought that was a bit more clear of what I was asking...)
