Reboot router or change static to auto then change it back.
May I ask why static ip wont work? I do static IP and the built-in FTP could not list files for me...so am curious why.

Same here, I could log in but could not list any files from current directory (or any directory for that matter), this is never works for me.
I use static ip and ftp client could login the built-in FTP server just fine though...

Up till now, there is no use for the options like External, Internal, and Favorites right? Because if you mark something Internal or External dosent change anything (should at least change the same thing as placing a _ in front of the game name), and there is no Favorites tab, so no use for it too, we going to need a quick access to favorites, else its useless. And Disc req option should not mount the game on the bdemu thing, only on the actual game if present, else it should prompt you to insert a disc in the drive or cancel the mount operation.
About the game updater, it just need an adjustment on the order you check things, first it checks if there is any update available, then you say yes to download, then it says your version, if its the same then after you tell it to install it says you already have it. Thats really the worst way to do it i could imagine. If should check the newest version, compare against yours if you are on the same version it should tell you are updated right away. If not, then it should give you the option to download.
Now just waiting for a nice theme to match the submenu and a hide/unhide shotcuts on the main menu. Maybe if we lucky a cache for 4+GB files for games too.

Dean, was this feature implemented in version 1.17.00? I didn't see any info on it in the change log. I know the mkv files can be played from within multiMAN's file manager by automatically launching showtime but I took this post as meaning that the mkv files would be visible (perhaps with a cover) and playable from within a menu similar/the same as the game menu.

I have an external hard drive formated with a FAT32 and NTFS partition. I'm able to use the start + /\ feature to load the NTFS driver and view the consents of my NTFS partition, however when I tried to play an MKV file that I had on the NTFS partition it gave me the option to install showtime and after doing so it appears that showtime can only see my FAT32 partition and not the NTFS.
I'm assuming I properly edited the .CFG file since multiMAN can correctly view both partitions but I can't figure out why showtime only see's the FAT32 partition. I tried installing the separate showtime package file and still have the same problem. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but I can't seem to figure out what it is. I would greatly appreciate anyone's help in getting this feature working.
Almost forgot to mention, the only other issue I've experienced is often times after using the start + /\ feature the PS3 will freeze. Holding down the PS3 button on the controller doesn't bring up the option to exit or shut down as normal and the only thing I can do is a hard reboot.
Thanks again!
Dean, can you please help me out with this, I've asked the question several times but haven't received any help from anyone. I also noticed that sometimes after the ntfs driver has loaded, multiMAN will still show the ntfs drive as mounted but the contents of the drive are no longer there ad the drive appears empty.
I know you've been extremely busy but it doesn't seem that anyone else is able to help me. Thanks!!

if you want to pay backups - yes.
But if you had bdemu installed earlier, you don't need to install it again

Yep, tested Bulletstorm here too, unfortunately it's not working any more, black screen, have to unplug ac-adapter .. but I'm not worried, i'm sure that Dean re-solve this issue when he has spare time on his hands
Edit: game worked before with normal load method and doesn't have any official updates
# kmeaw firmware & external hd, tried multiMAN update via internet & clean install from base package

Thanks for the reply
I guessed it was so, long as it does but I thought I was not sure that information about the games started with "Select + X" were saved in USRDIR MM, and having to upgrade to ver 1.17, then removing MM, they were lost.
Instead they are stored on external USB hdd where the game started with "Select + X"
Thanks
