EDIT: Just seen this post ^^
I answered to his question. It is obviously a problem at my side. Once I found the typo error all is working just fine with the 100% unmodified Showtime.
One good thing to add when launching a video directly in Showtime is to have the folder of the file to open automatically, too.
hello deank,
I started with MM 1.16.15 "Heavy Rain" by external hdd using "Select + X" (because otherwise the installation of game data should be done by internal hdd bun to go to the end). The game is updated to "Move Edition" ... not having changed the options, the game was set up to use the Move, but I was using the wireless controller. The game was waiting to Move and PlayStation Eye and I could not do anything, not even quit the game. Then I held down the power button until the PS3 is not off.
I turn on the PS3, MM start to restart "Heavy Rain" and a message that tells me PARAM.SFO not found ... MM did not put in place the PS3_GAMEfolder of Heavy Rain, I had to manually replace.
This was an isolated case, doing more testing with "Heavy Rain" is not repeated
Having a problem with ebootmod.exe. trying to get nascar 2011 to run on kmeaw 3.55 but I can't locate the eboot.bin file after it completes. Instructions said it would be prefixed with "modified_" and saved in the same folder as the original but it's not in the usdr. Do I need to have some other support programs installed for it to run correctly? Does the folder with ebootfix.exe and ebootmod.exe and all other files within the same folder need to be in a certain directory within my computer? Does the ps3 game need to be in the same folder as the ebootfix.exe, because I tried dragging the complete game folder to it but I get a popup saying path could not be located.
My exact problems in short is:
1. Drag and drop game folder to ebootfix.exe results in the popup and but it creates almost duplicate folders within the same folder but there is no eboot.bin file within it.
2. Drag and drop the eboot.bin file to ebootmod.exe only creates a _tmp folder it's empty, no "modified_eboot.bin" can be found.
(I did get the game working by d/ling an already modified eboot.bin file but want to figure out what I'm doing wrong) Thanks for any help.
p.s. I'm running multiman 1.16.15 and have no problems with any other games, even have the bdemu.pkg installed already fwiw.
Gooood Man!
hey dean,
cant seem to get the ftp to work in multiman
im using the latest version of flash FXP
auto start of ftp service is enabled
can u please have a look into it??
Hi, you should drag and drop the "PS3_GAME" folder of your game which should contain original/untouched files (eboot.bin, self or sprx files).
- the game don't have to be in the same folder as EbootFIX, you can drag/drop the PS3_GAME folder from your external USB drive and it works fine.
for more exact details, you can follow this tutorial for EbootFiX :
