multiMAN - multifunctional tool for your PS3 (Game manager/File manager/FTP/AVCHD/BDMV)

Where do you place the USB.CFG file after editing it??? I've seen this question asked a few pages back but it hasnt been answered yet to my knowledge...
PLEASE THATS MY LAST STEP...But cant figure it out...Please dont overlook this comment without helping if you can..THANKS IN ADVANCE

I believe it goes in multiman's USRDIR I think because thats where bdemu went!
Just a guess!

we know we can copy from orignal bluray to hd !. I wonder if we could implement support for copying from a bluray disc recorded for internal or external hd ? or it can not implement for manager ?

I'm assuming you need to put the info such as vendor ID, etc for your external harddrive into that file then drop it into the multiman folder but this process should really be explained in the readme or something, which it isn't at all and what is explained is VERY vague.

Its actually quite simple, just open the file with a text editor and delete the entries you find there.. then get your hdd vendor id and device id...

After that write it down in the file using the following order without the **:
*vendorid*:*deviceid*:*# (number of partitions)*

I think that's just it..

That statement is incorrect.

We can copy from an original PS3 game disc to HDD.

But we can not copy from any other bluray disc type, such as bluray movies...
(Or generic BDROM data discs.)

For PS3 game discs it is already implemented in the File Manager section of multiMAN,
and for other disc types it remains impossible, as the BD drive firmware will not allow us to read them.

Only custom firmware changes have the potential of changing that, by reading the disc in a way similar to how the PS3 bluray movie player does it, but no existing custom firmware has managed to implement such disc access for homebrews.
