Think I'll also avoid using NTFS for now, every single time i press Start +/\ it just freeze's the system and have to power down.
And yes the USB.CFG is 100% correct..
Have a little tiny bugg report, it seems the PIC1.PNG from games below or above is showing instead if the games your on, it depends from what side you are browsing. and it seems to even be put into some kind memory because I made a PIC1.PNG for a game that shows when your out in the XMB but not when your on it on multiman.

Had the time to read all the 50 pages now and find my answer. Atleast you can copy from your NTFS Drive. Now it's up to the people with CFW experiance to put in the rest in the Firmware.
It.s a shame it's som many pages to read trough when you actually find the answers it really is stupid as hell. Didn't understand "Nothing more nothing less" at first not in the sense of how it worked since I had deap wishes for it to atleast work to play games from. Game play not supported would be easyer to understand. Not everybody speaks english as their native language but reading trough all 30 pages and actually Deank saying it himself I understood it right away.
My brother told me he played mp3's from a NTFS formated USB stick from the original Firmware by pressing some button to read something from the stick, why I thought it maybe had some hidden talents but it could have been something similar to this. It's quite obviouse Firmware support is needed for core functions like NTFS. Hope more can be done from the CFW side. I always wondered how the PS 2 guys obtained Streaming support trough LAN for games without changing the fimware, this seems simlary impossible, Xbox 1 guys never obtained this, though XBMC was quite amazing. Streaming rars of my favorite television vithout even needing to unrar it. I could actually start watching the episodes as soon a got some rars home. I Always support my favorite shows by buying them when they are out on Blu Ray. I am not a freeloader so don't confuse this with something else. The worst that could happen is when a Show is put down or axed. It's actually a shame we can't support our favorite shows more then buying them I would gladely watch it at cinemas at full price just to see some more. Hope it will be possible in the future.
They should make shows available to a broader audience trough Hullu or iTunes worldwide so they got the support they deserved. It's a shame only USA been able to influence a shows outcome. Internet is the way and I would gladely see some comersial every 7 minutes or pay a few $ to keep it going and not getting axed. They don't even count people outside of US that follows the shows, the world is more then USA.
Sorry people changed the Subject to mutch, always disapointed about things I can't influence. The thing is people in Europe also spend money why do the US audience do all the deciding? We always get our show a week or 2 after US and because of that they don't count us at all. If they had a worlwide support they would have 10 times the money to pay for it. They can show different comersials for all the countries the technology is alredy there. And the internet makes that it spreads like wild fire anyway, why put it out? Let it burn and make some money. The more people watching a show the more money they make, I don't understand why they don't want to make money.Is this all about controll? like the game regions before? now Playstation or xbox don't care about region coding because it made more harm then good, and since more and more games actually are get made in europe we get them here first. I don't really mind to share. I doesn't hurt me that a person a world away can se something as soon as me. Atleast game industry are realizing it hope movie and television follow. We don't need to act like shildren anymore, telling eachother they can't play in our sandbox, it seems this never gets away because grown men are making decisions like children. Do they really think that they make more money? Maybe the post office does when people need to send things you can't get anywhere else, however Internet is making the post office obsolete so they should have thought and invested in things like fibercable, since we can't get enough speed, the faster information travels the better for everyone.
The bad thing is that many people think information is power, and the thing is they are right. That is why we should all share it because to much power in one place isn't good to anyone. Power is a reason for war however informations little sister comunication is the source for peace, that is why they should spend more time together and we will get a better world for everyone. One person doesn't need to be always right, the path of truth lies in the middle and it's where we should meet in all decisions.
And thank you Deank for your contribution to making this possible. If everybody did put in a little work at what they are best in and shared it, it would be a little lighter for everybody. Just like the Pyramids, what is impossible for one man to make we can make together.
However in this case Deank has been building his pyramid almost alone with a little help from some key people however he is always working making another version. Many of my friends talk that Deank is a man we should support and if possible make a donation when the burden is to heavy. Maybe with everything going on it's hard to ask because of $ony, however when geohot whips their ass it will cool down. He didn't do anything wrong so he can't lose. $ony are cheating I am sure of that but the free world would explode if they actually won. So it's just a matter of time, just like gehot and the others you got my resepect and support. And I believe there are more important issues in the world then making lawyers richer. If people shared their information the progress would be so mutch faster and we could maybe actually save our world or build another.
Looking back at history the whole $ony thing reminds me of one thing particullary: The bbok burnings of WW2 and all the earlier to. Why do we always take such a destructiv measures? like when they took Graf Choccolos computer in Geremany only because of Linux related stuff. Most uf us are good, when we see a person in trouble we come to their rescue, that is the only thing that is good about us and we shouldn't let large companys like $ony tell us different.
Their is no Piracy! the truth is $ony build a poor excuse for optical storage, they always had from day one and Playstation 1. If you know a person that never had a problem with a $ony laser you are a liar, a machine should be able run trough it's life cycle without problems, only a few% should break, everything else is thefth. $ony should have learned by now to build a laser but they make more money this way so why fix something that is not broken? meaning their bussines modell not their laser. Maybe because it's dishonest. Doing this on purpose should be criminal and it also is if it's a person who scrues another person, If it's a large ass Company like $ony scrueing al their costumers it's regular bussiness. I am always saying 99% of the people are good, I may go down a few % because $ony are large, And all the dishonest people did find their way to $ony, or $ony found them. If $ony are making people bad or evil it's a question for another time but they are scueing people for sure. I never felt for microsoft before I always felt cheated when I got a blue screen and all my work gone, however comparing to $ony microsoft is like a fury bunny. Many people feel like that, and that They did to themselves.
Sure many people say I never buy $ony again but they do it anyway time after time. It's because $ony make attractive products that you get dependent on. That way they make more money when it breaks. Maybe the first time was a real random thing, they did something really bad quality but people kept buying it over and over, statistically it can't be a coincidence that the same company makes the same mistake over and over. Statistically humans learn from their mistakes to never do them again. So for me this stopped being a coincidence a long time ago. Sure I bought $ony because i can afford it, some people have to save very long time, like young children and stealing from children is just wrong. Knowing what I know I will do what ever in my power to prolong the laser of the $ony product i became deppendent on. I have one fat and one slim. The fat's laser is on it's last tune and it's just good enough to read the table of contance (TOC). This being a Blu Ray player makes this problem larger then ever before why I am hoping for a Linux so we can have a real media player so we can conect a Blu ray player to the USB and that way win over $ony trying to scrue us over again. And if you are so confident "$ony" that your player is alright give us 3 years warranty on it(The Laser mostly). Then I can promise I never use multiman ever again as long you don't make me upgrade above OFW 3.55 and return me some kind of form of linux, atleast the one shitty version you sold it with. The thing I would really love is streming 1080p mkv "but beggers can't be what ever". I am sure many agre and those that don't like the free stuff, but you have to think if everybody did like that? would you like "a great game" in your life or a great game once in a while? It wpuld be really boring if digitall stuff never got made. I can recognize when they make a movie to stiff me on a few bux and those I don't really get made or not. That is the thing with art, you pay for the thing you like, you don't buy a painting just because you glanced at it. What I really hate are trailers that make us pay to go and see the movie but when we see it we just get 2 hours of sleep. A sleeping pill is cheaper.
Now some of you are going to say that even thives need to eat. However if they got caugt once in a while they se a patern and they do something else to get food. Nobody would pay seing me in my pyjamas however adding some special affects and a cool voice maybe even I could fool a few people. So talk to the hand people. Everyone of us got scrued once in a while, some of us are just not so intelligent to see it..
one simple question my brothers what willl happen when 3.56 games come out??? those can also be decrypted with MTLDR key or not to play on 3.55cfw ?? or there is no way that we can play them ???when they will come out!!!
for what i understand of the key used by geohot, it won't can be played 3.56 games if sony uses another key, but this is for now, i think that when happen this the devs will work on the solution.. but for now i guess not..
Finally i find whats the problem.When i run fix permission i dont leave it for 5 minutes to make its job.I press the exit and take back to xmb.Now all ok with the games.I test 4 games and all work fine.
I never had this 99% lock, but last weekend I used my PS3 in a CRT TV, and when I tried to copy, it locked in 99%!Quote:

So with this NTFS support, can I play games that have >4 GB from externall or I still need to copy them to internal ?
I am getting out of space, and it seems more and more games have files bigger then 4 GB... I guess on purpose...:)
And do I still need to split games that are bigger then 4 GB ?
What files i must copy and where i must paste it?
