hi gang, i'm a new MM user and loving it!!!! i used to be gaia only but i'm definitely liking all the extra features in MM
one question though- i installed the mega pack with 920 covers but there's still a couple missing like dead space 2 and dragon age origins...is there a way to get MM to download new covers? or alternately can i delete the 'wrong' covers, and redownload somehow?
grazie a tutti[/lang]
still cannot get BD movies copied on the external/internall hdd with this lastest version :(
This is a multiMAN and multiAVCHD combo question.
Since Dean made both these solutions available, my PS3 has become a blue ray high def watching MACHINE. I watch everything in HD, compared to 480 with my Xbox XBMC.
Anyways. I'd like to figure out how to get the poster of the movie I select in multiAVCHD to show up in multiMAN up in the corner. Also a way to possible set multiAVCHD to format the outgoing AVCHD structure so I can get two icons, one icon one background. For some reason, one time a seek position showed up there, but I'd like to put the poser I select to show up there.
I also had the question. Does multiAVCHD automatically keep quality settings of the MKV going in the same. All I use multiAVCHD for is uncropping the MKV and getting it into AVCHD format so the PS3 can read it.
Thanks in advance.
You can only backup BD games, with mM.

Quick ps3serv question: it's only intended for launching video and single media files, correct? I would think a modified kernel would be necessary for streaming games over gigabit LAN.
I can't get AVCHD converted movies to work. I chatted about this previously. You told me how to structure my folders. I did that and after MultiMAN activates/converts it over to play from XMB it always goes to black screen or back to XMB.
I do have a blank USB drive connected to the PS3. Here's how I have a current movie folder structured and FTP'd to the PS3 in this manner:
/dev_hdd0/GAMEZ/The Other Guys AVCHD/BDMV/
What is causing this problem everytime I convert a movie with MultiAVCHD from PC and then try to use it with MultiMAN? I haven't gotten not one converted movie file to work.
This goes back to earlier versions of MultiMAN as well. I guess I'm doing something wrong but I have yet to figure it out. Thanks! ;) BTW, where do we put the COVER.PNG files for AVCHD movies on HDD? I put mine in the same directory as the game covers and they're not being recognized. Do they go in the actual AVCHD movie folders?
Alright so I apparently am retarded... with the newest multiman 1.14.01 or whatever I have no clue as to how to load games with a disc in the drive for compatibility... Every time I try it shows me that my actual disc is in the drive and when I try app home/ps3 game it trys to load the game and black screens I'm guessing because it's not looking for the disc in drive. If anyone can help please do oh and also I don't want to have to run the L2 patch before I start Multiman is this possible? Because I wasn't before on 1.14.0
Don't go to app home with a disc in the drive. There will be a mounted game disc icon to play the loaded game from XMB instead. ;)
