Got it working can i use showtime or anything else to view videos from the ntfs side?
You know when I am browsing my PS3 over the FTP there is a folder called flash at the root and inside that folder I have a PSX, PS2 and a PSP folder and inside that there are .self files, it looks like that is what the PS3 is using to run older games like one is named pspemulator.self and a ps2emulator.self so I think someone should be able to hack those so we can play our backups right? I am on a FAT PS3, BTW.

Hi all, I messed around with 02.07.01 last night and ripped a DVD-ROM (Van Helsing) and a PS2 disc (Castlevania: LoI) and they ripped fine but when I tried to playback the DVD in Showtime the video was all messed up and would not play (and of course the PS2 disc would not show up in multiMAN). Man, how cool it would be to be able to play the PS2 game in Sony XMB (on my FAT PS3). Anyway when trying to switch the appearances using L1 and R2 still does not work, it's like it's locked on the XMB mode. I can switch it under system prefs but I still can not change it using the L1 and R2.... also what do we name the wave.divx files to get them to work? I see he has added 9 different video backgrounds. Do we name them wave.divx, wave2.divx or something like that? I tired wave.divx and wave1.divx but it did not work for me.
Duh... I found it "Added: Option to select 9 different motion backgrounds wave.divx, wave2.divx... wave9.divx (restart may be required)"
I still can't get L1 and R1 to switch appearances...
is there a picture cache in mm?
i ask this because some of the pictures in mm`s pictures column on my ps3 have no preview
should i reinstall mm new:
because i only updated it since version 2.00.00
I just installed 2.07.1 and tried to rip a legit bluray movie. It copied fine, but I can't figure out how to play it. I ripped it to internal, MM suggested that I convert to AVCH for compability reasons, and that it would be playable under video tab in XMB, but the only thing under my video tab in XMB is "AVCH", and its file size is 0. I tried looking for it in showtime, and it doesnt show up there either. In MM video tab, it shows the file, but cannot play it from there (trying to play from MM it loads up XMB just like I was playing a PS3 backup, but then after that theres no BD to play) I have tried this by not converting to AVCH as awell as converting, and keeping a BD disc in drive as well as discless.
What do I need to do?
deank how do you think about an update manager integrated in mm
either a menü(like filemanager) or a column for updates for example
so it is easier and you don`t have to search for every game if there is an update
so that multiman show all updates if you tell him(click) to search for updates
and then one click only more to say him pls download all updates now(in a row)
so you have after the download all pkg updates there and have only to install them
