BUG REPORT with Write Access to /dev_flash
I think there is a bug with the enable of the Write Access to /dev_flash. When I first installed the update I set it to enable to just test it. Later I disabled it. But each time I start up MM, it is set back to Enable mode and in File Manger it still shows the dev_blind directory. Seems it doesn't want to be put on disable mode for some reason.
Hmm? Perhaps it's not a bug? Perhaps it's suppose to work this way? What I did now is disabled the feature and then return to XMB and then turn Off my PS3. Once I turned On my PS3 and launched MM, the feature was disabled plus there wasn't a dev_blind directory in File Manager. So perhaps this disabling trick isn't a quick process? Perhaps we are suppose to turn OFF/ON the PS3 so this becomes officially disabled.
The option in actually a "Function" and "Enable"/"Disable" labels show the current state - for example if you already enabled /dev_blind it will show "Enable".

Ok so I connect via FTP using Filezilla to MM and start to back up my Flash,Flash2,Flash3 and in the middle of copying it disconnects and says -
Status: Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server".
Error: Could not connect to server
keeps attempting and saying the same thing. Can anyone help me out ?
Try to use file manager and copy these to a usb stick - much better approach.
Yeah but i still cant connect to MM via FTP any more.
BlackBox 1.2 FTP Server still works pretty good. :) connects with out issues for me using flashfxp 4+ something. If you're looking for something that can get you cannect right now.

Here is a quick minor update for today:
* Added: SIDE menu in XMMB mode to access various functions (access the menu with [TRIANGLE]
* Added: Option in XMMB Settings column: [Write access to /dev_flash via /dev_blind]
* Added: Permissions check upon loading a title (it was removed in 1.17.** I think)
* Added: VP6 file extension to recognizable video formats
* Changed: UPDATE function in GAME SETTINGS menu will not download updates for higher than your current PS3 firmware version
The last one should make things easier for regular users. multiMAN will no longer download PKG updates for games, which are for higher firmware versions, like in the current situation - anything above 3.55. Since multiMAN detects your PS3 firmware properly (and ignores the spoofers) all is okay.
The update is also available online via multiMAN (debug mode).
multiMAN ver 02.04.00 UPDATE (20110825-210000).pkg (1.76 MB)
Under the music XMMB, I wish I could press Triangle and also choose to Stop the music. The Start+Square command is very difficult for me to remember. LOL.
I agree with you ! :) that would be useful !
