deank, you can do that would be when the selection icon, the icon did not increase but shows a different icon. This will provide more opportunities in design
and the Exit button in the file manager, make its size without changing the size
I don't usually post any message.. I usually read the thread and wait for any issue being pointed out by others and, in the meantime, I try to do things in different ways. But maybe my experience could be of some help...
As a matter of fact, in my experience, the 'direct boot' feature is not working launching backups from external... and that's from about 1.16 version. I'm on 3.55, fat, broken lens.
Now, on recent versions, when I check the 'direct boot' flag in game options menu and launch the game, it doesn't try to direct boot it.. I immediately understand it because it doesn't show the direct boot warning nor the last game savings message.. it simply kicks me back to the XMB ready for apps_home usual launch mode.
I don't know if MM checks the game and decide whether to try to direct boot or not based on some 'well' known game behaviour.. in this case I would ask you if you could avoid this check because I could manage to play 'unplayable said' backups via last game and, as far as I know, it's just the direct boot feature that saves data for last game. Right?
Anyway, I usually manage to get the direct boot feature work by pressing the X button directly onto the game's eboot.bin.. this in turn asks me for the direct boot and saves infos for last game.
I hope my experience helps. Thanks again for your hard work.
PS: is there a way to create a 'soft link' in the external to some internal file? It would be great for files over 4Gb..
EDIT 1 : all working fine at the end.. with the update released on 05-10-2011, 06:34 PM
Hey guys, i got this if anyone is interested, thanks for the wonderful person who made them happen, it is Hermes V4 in BDEMU.pkg for 3.41 and 3.55!! Great stuff, hope everyone enjoys! You should be able to install this PKG and choose your version of payload from within multiman on the next version. It will be in the Setup menu, where you can select the payload you want. The choices will be:
1 - Standard syscall 36 (same payload we've had)
2 - Hermes syscal c8 for 3.55
3 - Hermes V4 for fw 3.41
Again, huge thanks to the great guy who made this happen. Here is the link, make sure to distro and mirror.
Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!
Included are 2 pkg files and a readme.
http://psx-scene.com/forums/814308-post13056.html and notice my quote under it. It has 2 different link urls for the update. Which means. Updates were made. Recheck the updated version with your problem and reply back if it wasn't fixed. :)
Some updates (link)
