multiMAN - multifunctional tool for your PS3 (Game manager/File manager/FTP/AVCHD/BDMV)

Hello everyone.

Sorry if the questions im gonna ask are stupid, but im a noob on the ps3 modding scene. I am stuck in the old days when I used to put chips in PSX and PS2 :)

So basically after getting the 3.55 firmware and multiman, how do I exactly run my backups?

I have an external HDD, NTFS (I read multiman supports this format).

Do I simply run them off my external hard drive? that's it? or tdo i need to do anything in particular?

Also, can i move them in my internal hdd? it's empty at the moment...

Had a quick question about the Last Game app, it seems that when I start a game with select+x (bd mirror on game settings) it doesnt save the data for Last Game played and it just keeps the las game played with "regular" launch, is this a bug ot is just not possible to jave the app register a game with bd mirror for the next time.

If you read better you will notice NTFS only supports COPY (for games), u cant play them from NTFS but you can copy them to internal.
Imo just format your external to Fat32 so u can run games from it.

I think the best idea that some folks have floated around, for organizing all of the different topics involving multiMAN, was the idea of its own forum. That way individual threads could be created on the different topics and include the latest resolutions, ideas, etc. It would spread out the info into more appropriate categories and organize it all better. I think Dean may post in more than one forum right now and if so, then he could just start directing folks to the new forum and others could do that too to help out.

Don't misinterpret my intentions to think that I'm looking to gain anything out of bringing this up. I just think it was the most appropriate idea to improve the decimination of information involving multiMAN.

I think it's important to adhere properly to the correct format in the .conf file.

Content_ID=KELTHM-BLES80608_00-INCLBDEMUUSBCVRS is ok, where KELTHM is 6 uppercase characters and INCLBDEMUUSBCVRS is 16.

I gave it a quick try and still not work. Just flash of dos screen and no time to see the error. When I get time later I will look into it more.

not all themes are posted there as I get most of mine from there (thanks opium2k) so I'm thinking we also need a thread here on PSX-Scene (to also discuss multiMAN themes) also all condorstike's themes can be found on his site condostrike.com
