Some of you might remember my previous topic about this:

http://psx-scene.com/forums/f192/mul...-system-88068/ (multiMAN keeps freezing my entire system.)

After a while, the author eventually released a version of MultiMan which does not have any type of auto-refresh in the games section of the XMMB view, and this fixed the problem..... provided that I never EVER navigated to the videos tab. For some reason, coming in contact with the videos tab even for a split second causes MultiMan to completely lock up my system.

However, as of the latest version of MultiMan (v2.06.00) this is happening yet AGAIN! I also noticed that the auto-refresh in the games section of the XMMB is back.

Clearly, whatever is causing this #$%@^%@%#^@#%#$%^#% problem, its related to the auto-refresh feature of multiMAN, and likely related to the video files directory as well somehow.

Does anybody have ANY advice whatsoever about this? This is getting beyond ludicrous at this point, I can't just ask the author to make another version without an auto-refresh since it will come back after a few more versions anyway. I just want to get rid of this damn crashing issue once and for all, I cannot boot any of my games because of this! It locks up before I can do anything!

Someone, anyone, PLEASE help, I have been struggling with this for months now and am at my wits' end.

I had the same exact problem and this is how I solved it:
go to recovery mode and choose rebuild database (option 4). if not, do option 3.

No, he should just do what I told him. The problem looks like it's the HDD.

Actually, others have had this problem too, if you would bother to check my previous topic about this issue.

Thank you for being so condescending though...

No need to hate on the pirate.

Have you tried reflashing your system with another CFW?
