multiMAN cannot enable BD-ROM emulator.

Hello all - noobie here!

Can I get some help?
When I start MultiMAN on my PS3 (v3.55 - GeoHot) I get this error:
"multiMAN cannot enable BD-ROM emulator. Funcionality may be restricted! ERR: Unsupported firmware or BDEMU.BIN incorrect version"

I have read, re-read, re-downloaded, and I cannot get my backed up game to play from internal HD; I believe because of this error.

Any assistance? please?

install bdemu again ^^ v2 for multiman 2.x :dance:

Everything went fine - installed great.
Just get that error message and I cannot get it to go away.
I think there is a problem with multiMAN; a bug.
Needs uh fixing...

I've been going at this for three hours already.
There is no way I am the only one having issues with this new multiMAN V2.00.03 and BDEMU2. It was pretty cut and dry - they need to go back to the drawing board.

Please stop cluttering up this forum with the exact same question posted multiple times. That will net you a ban, a couple of rants, and other nasty things. So please refrain from doing so.

EDIT: Also move to kamew 3.55 + BDEMU2.pkg. That will fix all of your problems. You are using a horribly outdated CFW. Kamew 3.55 or rebug are the latest and greatest in the CFW world. Use them and you won't have any problems. I would go for Kamew 3.55 personally. It's the best CFW for game and homebrew support. (If you want more go for rebug.)

I agree 100% with most of what you wrote here. But there is one thing you need to change in how you post about custom firmwares, and that is to use their correct designations.

The one you recommended here (which I agree with) is named "CFW 3.55 kmeaw". (So not "Kamew 3.55".) The mention of 'rebug' was perhaps intentionally vague though, so I guess that's OK in this context (as a user having this kind of trouble had better avoid a rebug CFW anyway).

I don't like to nitpick like this, but the PS3 firmware subject is confusing enough to newcomers without worsening it with mixed-up acronyms...
